Yesterday, during FT's presser, the corp is working on it's constant mission of causing trouble, by inquiring into Tom's emotional blow-up. Fred answered by praising him every which way but loose, and finished with 'Thank God I'm on his team."

Just now on D & H, they are questioning Sammy Morris about Tom's blow-up again. Sammy talks glowingly about how "into it" Tom always is and explains that on one of his fourth down carries he can here Tommy yelling: 'Go, Sammy Go."

and he finished with "I love it".

We all have everlasting visions of Tommy slamming the drink cup down on the sidelines. The football world and the Colts fans in particular have mocked that moment ever since.

They have no clue.

Cheers, BostonTim

Notice brady will never say anything about galloway or his team after a game, he will say "we" didnt execute. They keep it in house, they take care of things in the lockeroom, they came out a different team after the half.

:coffee:

Tom throws a hissy-fit, he's firing up the team.

Peyton throws one, he's "whining".

It's all in the facial expressions.

Brady has a look of anger and determination, Peyton has a look of waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Meh, to be fair, I said to FT right away that he looked like Peyton and hated it. Fired up is one thing, this was a bit much. He missed as many as were dropped too.

I'd say Tom's meltdown was beneficial, the paasing game improved in the 2nd half.

I Think the difference is in the wording chosen during the after game meet the press period...Tom just has a better handle on how to express himself while Peyton just slings words out that can be construed as some thing Evil

I was mostly joking but..

Since we're being fair, I doubt that blow up was just because he dropped a pass or 3. That was merely the straw that broke the camels back. Could have been brewing for awhile from behind the scenes as much as in front. We just don't know

No, we dont. I just thought it kind of sucked to watch.

Manning pulls a hissy fit and then says after the game "I am going to try to be a good team mate here, but we had our protection problems."

Brady throws a hissy-fit and says "It's not that I'm right and they're wrong, we're just on different pages at times." (From this morning on D&C).

Just sayin'.......

Why?I loved it...this is football, emotions run high. Maybe some of these guys need a kick in the ass to get them going.

Same meaning, different words...

I LOVE watching him screaming at an entire bench and head butting and being fired up. I didn't love watching him scream while Galloway stood alone. The guy ****ed up, he knew he ****ed up..it wasn't going to help the situation. I may have felt differently if Brady didn't miss on a bunch of passes too.

I hear ya but Galloway has screwed up a bunch in 3 games.

I give Brady alot more slack, he's coming back from a year off, I think his shoulder might be bothering him a bit and he's try to work with new receivers.

Brady is the leader, if he wan't to yell at someone I can live with it.

I don't disagree, but as for the bolded part:

Tom Brady absolutely carried a whole host of receivers, actually making them look like legitimate NFLers, for years. Yes, he's been off, but I don't think it's asking too much that he ask them to carry the water for a little while.
