Hello folks. "Bucket List Time." Long-time fan but I just noticed it's been almost 1 1/2 years since I last logged on.

Please don't think I am jumping ahead of myself or anything, but as the women of the house, I am the financial planner.

In the event our Pats get to New Orleans, has anyone used those "all-inclusive" services - air fare, hotel, game tix, transportation, etc.?

If anyone has been to a super bowl, did you make your own air fare/hotel, game tix - yourself? I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Where's Dave? He's the expert in this field.

I did it all on my own. i booked the room 1st, you can cancel if you want, but you can not find rooms last minute without being violated. I booked a flight right after the division championship game and luckily my request to fly in late Saturday evening and out Monday at 5AM allowed flights to be easily booked.

At the time a patient of my kids mother was a dealer and we got tickets at a nice price.

I was 1st pats fan thru my gate and needed up in the herald as such.

Was going to post a serious reply, but the concept of this thread makes me nervous.....Jinx anyone? I`m outa here.

OP said twice that she wasn't trying to jump head or make early predictions, just wanted to be on the safe side.

Life is short, and we've all worked damn hard. Sometimes, I am sick of putting all our money away until we retire and won't remember who we are or where the bathroom is. I just want to do this and plan. No jinx. Thanks.

And then lose every other year. Thankfully the NYG didn't make the playoffs this year. :dith:

Did you really just try and make a joke about going to the Superbowl and losing as opposed to..... rarely making playoffs and never making the Superbowl?

ouch... it hurts.. you got us.

The Patriots have been to five since the Broncos last went to one so...this is worse than WeakSmackGuy... :coffee:

(Also, Broncos fan attempting smack talk about losing Super Bowls is pretty hysterical. ROFL )

Yeah, I started following the NFL in '86. Does anyone remember Timmy Smith and the Counter Gap/Trey?
