Hernandez Questioned in Homicide?!?!? WTF

Sorry for the bump but a guy that I've known for a few months from an AA meeting that I attend regularly saw my Patriots tattoo and caught me after the meeting in the parking lot. He played football at Bristol Central with Hernandez. Painted a completely different picture of him prior to Gainesville. Said that he withdrew after his father died but was always kind of shy to begin with. Said without a doubt he was not in any gangs in Bristol. He said things spiralled out of control once he committed to Florida.

He had plans to meet Hernandez at Foxwoods in 2012 the night of the murders in Southie but he never showed.

I guess there's a podcast on iTunes called Gladiator that chronicles Hernandez' life and career.

crazy what the Pouncy Brothers and Tebow did to him, Twin corrupted him, the other tried to save him by covering it up.

I too heard he started to drift after his day passed but I can see a kid taking a wrong path in that case after reading how his father was always with him with sports. and that is was indeed his time in Gainesvilles that was his downfall.

Didn't his autopsy also show some of the worst CTE yet seen?

I was just reading that section in Ian O'Connor's book on Belichick and somebody from the study was quoted that APerp's CTE was the worst they had yet seen in somebody his age. He was significantly younger than the average case.

Football surely played a role in that.

The question at hand is if these hardcore drugs he was abusing heavily also contributed. Not a reach for anyone who’s interacted with someone waist deep in hardcore drugs. Clearly their brains aren’t firing at a great capacity either.

It's been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that football causes CTE. I don't know that anybody knows about the combo of football concussions/repeated impacts and, say, "angel dust" which used to be made with PCP (animal tranquilizer (ironically)) and which Hernandez was said to use often along with other stuff.

Beats me. I'm just glad he got caught before he stuffed a few more body bags and I'm not convinced that his CTE can be directly cited as the cause of his psycho behavior.

Nor do I think that can ever be proven one way or the other. Plenty of bi-polar, master-manipulator narcissists act out in the same way without even playing a down of football.

Wait.... Aaron Hernandez did WHAT???!
