The glue factory awaits...you were once great, now, you're just not very good. You were paid a lot of money to be clutch...but the clutch is slipping.

If you'd told me that Ghost would come down with terminal yips and be our greatest concern approaching mid-season, I'd have laughed at you.
He'll get Moah Time.

Cheers

Agreed. No time for panic and BB won't. Ghost's body of work buys him a lot more time.

Do I think BB will do things to get him back on track? Yes. Bring in kickers because his all pro steady ass kicker is have a rough go during the first half of the year? Nope.

He'll be fine, just a hiccup

Ghost will be fine. No need to panic yet. He is working through his mechanics and will get it straightened out.

Bill is speaking in the presser right now. Saying Steve will work through it, nobody works harder than him, is a great player etc. Says HF is a tough place to kick....

The missed XP from the Denver game is still in his head.

Obviously he's had a disappointing season so far, but to everyone wanting to cut him: who's available that would be an upgrade long-term? Pretty slim pickings on the kicker FA market right now...

Hopefully he doesn't cost the Pats any games...

That's the point, who the hell would you bring in?? You're not going to get someone who is substantially better at this stage. You'd get someone who might get the same amount of kicks and miss the same and that's without the upside of Ghost putting his yips behind him.

It is...but not extra points. It's not like it was a monsoon or something.

David Duval better figure shit out. Quickly. Even his kickoffs were shit today.

Any of the 1000 kickers that don't miss extra points?

David Duval is statistically the worst kicker in the league right now. So by definition...anyone?

And even with those misses, he's still the fourth most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL.

Name someone who is available who would be a better option. Josh Scobee? Shayne Graham? No thanks...

Mike Vanderjagt? He's more accurate. :coffee:

I don't care who they bring in, but they'd damn well start trying out some kickers. Duval is not getting it done right now.

Again, you're not going to find a bigger apologist for him on this board than me - but this shit's not working. Like I said, even the kickoffs were shit today.

When you have to cross your fingers on every kick and extra point...something needs to change.
Okay, who do you want to sign?

Heinz is historically the worst field in which to kick, as I understand it. Players have slumps. It's a concern, not an excuse to panic.

Stop it. It's an extra point. 33 yards.

Kickoffs are off a damned tee.

Stop making excuses.
