2018 Fantasy Football Discussion

On a side note, I love some of the team names that folks come up with for their teams. I actually sell hair care products so my team name is Shampoo Superman. Another guy in our league named his team Cam’s Fasion Designer. Any funny, interesting team names out there?

In my longstanding league (20+ years) I am always Your Mom. I am Kiss My Asterisk in another, Dough Nation in another and Hugh Jass Burgers in another.

I know - I need a life.

One of the guys in my league named his team Off In Church...because you know...nobody beats off in church...except for me. I did it last week. ROFL

Lol those are funny. In our league, the last place finisher has his team name decided by the league. Sometimes leads to some humorous shite.

Strangebrew is a great name.....especially if the guy with that team name homebrews his own beer.......and he is strange

:toast:

Serious non-troll question:
Aaron Rodgers or Tyrod Taylor?

Aaron Rodgers is hurt, may or may not even play, and if he does play, may be limited in mobility against an aggressive Vikings pass rush and stout defense which held Jimmy GQ to 260 yards, a TD and 3 picks (including a pick 6). There is a chance that during a sack the moderate sprain gets aggravated and he's out after less than a full game as well.

Tyrod Taylor is against a Saints Defense which last week made Ryan Fitzpatrick (Ryan Fitzpatrick!) the highest scoring fantasy asset at any position, allowing 417 yards and 4 TDs with not a single Int, he has no injury concerns, and he's on the other side of Drew Brees, which means another shootout is likely.

In my opinion Rodgers has a slightly higher ceiling this week than Taylor, but Taylor has a Much higher floor. This would not even be a question were it not for the injury, I drafted only Rodgers at QB for a reason, but as much as the injury might be getting hyped up just so they can continue fellating Rodgers after he wins in spite of it this week, if it's legitimate the impact it has on a mobile QB is real and this thing could take an ugly turn fast.

Geno Smith.

Well, after three weeks, things aren't going at all like I had envisioned. I know it's way too early to panic but man!! I'm 1-2 on the season. Week 1 I led the league in points in a victory. Week 2 my team went on a pretty steep decline. Last week? 69 points...yes, I said 69 points. Gronk would be so proud but I'm not.
