Week 6, Broncos @ Patriots

Add to that several years of bad drafts with not enough help from those draftees.
Another notable, yet VERY glaring problem.

Bill has his strengths. But his weaknesses are being exposed. The GOAT covered those up for years. We don’t have that guy to handle that anymore.

He does fine on many positions. But he CLEARLY needs to pilfer a guy from another org to handle skill position assessments and procurement. As well as draft reviews.

Chace Claypool was my guy this year. He’s already better than Harry.
Renfrow was another I wanted. Same.

What.A.Shit.Show...the Pats will be lucky to end up @ 8-8.

Cam isn't the answer. He is reverting back to his later years for the Panthers like I thought he would. BB should just start Stidham from here on out. See what he has.

BB should trade Thuney, Gilmore, and Edelman off for the future.

The Donkos are one of the worst teams in the NFL, yet beat the Pats @ home.

No WR or TE ever really got open, and if they did, Cam never saw them open.

Izzo sucks ass. Worse than ass.

BB had if not the worst game, one of his worst games ever.

McD should be let go.

The refs are garbage. They were trying to help the Donkos on almost every call.

Thank you for your post. I now believe the Pats will be fine.

Onto San Francisco.

I agree. We are in real trouble here. We don't have the QB to cover anymore and it was not just Brady's on field play but his expectation of excellence. It was interesting to me that the media harped on him for yelling at his Oline during the Bears game when they had 4 penalties in a row on one drive and then this week they have zero penalties. He is relentless in his pursuit of winning and you can already see it permeating in Tampa.

Although I did chuckle to myself when Suh was jawing with Rodgers and getting in his head. I said to my kids, I am not sure even Brady can reel in Suh. Not sure Brady wants to either. LOL

I’m not on board with your Tom assessment. That cat was not here last year.

I’m sure he’s excelling in TB, but I’m not interested more than a passing glance.

I agree about last year but I was more talking about overall. The excellence he played with here for 20 years. That is what is missing right now and it is not easy to replace. I hope we for once spend some draft capital on the QB position this off-season.

Agreed on brady. In hindsight last year was just about playing out the string. He had made up his mind to leave before the season started...

If playing out the string means 12-4 I will take that every year.

What I liked about Cam yesterday post-game is that he owned it, didn't blame anyone and did not hang Harry out to dry. There was a completion there for the taking on the 4th down throw but Harry cut his route off and was not where he was supposed to be when Cam threw the pass.

Izzo needs a good boot up his hole for that turnover.

I said it yesterday, that Thuney miss-snap was just a killer. 1st down in the RZ and suddenly we were 2nd and 25. Momentum gone.

He didn’t drive that.

That was a combination of a very weak first 2/3rds of a schedule and an extremely good defense.
Right. He was just along for the ride with 24 TDs to 8 picks, 4000+ yards passing. Brady was exactly what the team needed him to be to win games with an injured Oline and no run game. Game manage the wins, make the plays to win against the bad to mediocre teams, score on the short fields. When looking at the offense this year with Cam, I am more amazed at what Brady did last year.

24 tds to 8 picks is not stellar stuff.....

The Titian’s didn’t miss a beat with no practice time

Yesterday was the first time that I can remember where Bill made excuses blaming the lack of practice time. Of course it was a pretty big factor but to hear Bill say it was stunning to hear.

I took that to mean he didn't want the players/coaches to lose confidence. Smart imo.

Was a little surprised by that too. I have seen half the team down with injuries before and Bill would not make an excuse for it in the past. Yeah I mean teams practice because it means something, but that egg they layed to one of the bottom 5 teams in the league at home no less was not just all about practice.

Neither is 2 td's and 4 ints through 5 games....to get 24 td's and 8 ints and 4000 with that bunch was a miracle.
At 1.5 TDs a game? And he already has half the 2019 INTs this season.....And we're halfway through October.

Or getting totally hosed by the refs too. Very unlike Bill. It is always on to the next game.
