Looking at the Patriots - 2020

Oh, please, God, make it go away: Brady can do no wrong. He is perfect in every way, always has been and always will be. Anyone saying that the 2018 Brady wasn't the same guy as the pre-2017 guy is a hater and doesn't know shit.

Well, sorry, but Brady was the greatest ever but as was inevitable it didn't last forever. His play deteriorated gradually 2017-2019 and his attitude changed dramatically last year.

As the great philosophers Kansas said:

I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes with curiosity

Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind

Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

I thought Brady forced it to Edelman way too much last year when there was another receiver open, but wasn't trusted.

Cam seems to be throwing to the open guy, when he gets rid of it on time anyway.
This is the part I don't get. That is what Brady is supposed to do. Throw to the guy he can trust and who is open. Welker led the league in receptions for 6 straight years and I don't remember anyone saying back then that Brady was favoring him too much.

I think everyone is just upset about how things unfolded last year which I am too but there were many reasons and chief was the lack of skill guys on the offense and that has carried over into this season and has been accentuated even more because Cam is a lousy passer.

Oh, please, God, make it go away: Bill can do no wrong. He is perfect in every way, always has been and always will be. Anyone saying that Bill screwed the drafts the last 5 years is a hater and doesn't know shit.

Well, sorry, but Bill was the greatest ever but as was inevitable it didn't last forever because his GOAT QB is gone. His terrible GM moves are now being exposed at lightning speed. Welcome parity. Welcome 8-8.

Bingo!! We got Bingo!!!

Why do so many posters feel a need to bring up a players draft status. The kid was on the 53, doesn't matter how. BB still has at least 1 udfa on each roster, doesn't he? Calling Meyers a udfa is just a way to try to demean him, while supporting your chosen player.

I don't think it is. With the pick and round there come expectations. Meyers is playing with house money. The fact he was a UDFA makes it that more impressive that he's doing as well as he is. Whereas with Harry it's quite the opposite. His draft pick weighs him down since he was expected to produce. The worst part is that the Pats could have almost drafted any other receiver and hit. There are so many 2nd year receivers that went after him that are balling out, which is incredibly frustrating considering Pats have had issues at WR for a few years now.

Lyrics from the 1963 hit by the Cookies:

And when I take his hand,
there's no man who can put him down, down, down.
Oh, the world's so sweet at his feet when he's uptown.
Whoa-oo-oh-whoa.
When he's uptown.
Whoa-oo-whoa-oo-whoa-oh-oh.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't say nothin' bad about my Brady.
Don't!

You quoted me as if what I said had something to do with what you posted. It didn't. I gave my opinion.

As far as the rest of what you say here, I refer you to this:

The SIX Ring Circus - Patriots Tailgate

Talk about the Patriots. Talk about other teams. Talk about Alice in Wonderland, the owls on your trashcan, or almost anything else. It's all good
