Great list thus far of greatest live albums. To it, I'd add Neil Diamond "Hot August Night", Rory Gallagher's "Irish Tour 74", Yes' "Yessongs", Elton John's "17-11-70", Dire Straits "Alchemy" and Tull's "Bursting Out"

If you are not familiar with Roy, do yourself a favor and give this live version of "Can I Change My Mind" a listen:

Indeed. Have a listen to this set as well. Just Roy plugged into a couple of Fender Twin Reverbs, facing opposite of each other, with Roy getting all of them amazing Telecaster sounds simply with his picking/fretting fingers; no pedalboard needed for this guitar wizard.

David Bromberg's How Late'll Ya Play'Til release had two parts, a studio session and a live session.

The live session is pretty good. ;)

Not a huge fan of progressive jazz but I've always liked the group. Maybe a year ago they lost their keyboard Kyle May. The musicians of my younger days just seem to falling by the wayside. Saw them several times on Austin City Limits. Anyway, :).

Cheers
Saw Metheny and Lyle Mays on Boston Common.... years ago there was a summer program "Concerts on the Common" that had some great acts come through. Saw Santana there also.
