I am not talking about their defensive talent. I am talking about Mayfield isn't budgeted for and that Mayfield wasn't even a great draft pick for a future franchise QB. I never liked him and think he is overrated. It tells you a lot they can't give him his contract. Same with Lamar in Baltimore. Each GM has lost all their leverage in those situations.
Mayfield seems very hot and cold. Sometimes he plays well, and the next game he will be terrible.

Lamar imo, is a RB that can throw sometimes. He is very gifted with his ability to not get wrecked by the defense. He isn't that accurate as a thrower. It's crazy how he can get away with so many risky plays. It's not going to last forever though...I think.

Most teams have the same problem with what you're talking about. It's the way the system was set up.

Correct. All these GMs I've listed are newer media darlings and they haven't won jack squat except for Veach in KC. I just think it's funny super top heavy rosters with bad contracts are supposed to be a good thing and they're not.

That's why I mentioned Mac Jones on a rookie deal for the next 4 seasons with the team built the way this one is. They don't need to overpay for FAs. Agholor may be a bit overpaid here, but it won't be anything like the market next year and beyond when all these teams will be bidding vs one another.

I am just a believer in being cap conscious and how it has provided BB the GM with advantages over other teams, in particular now in the AFC. We're not carrying a 35-40 mil year QB.
Dorsey has a good eye for talent. He's good imo.

Agreed about the cap.

Lamar is completeing 66% of his passes. He was a one man wrecking crew vs KC.

Gordon could be very successful in KC's system, and a great compliment to Mahomes extending plays and improvising.

Some SB half time show in LA on the cards! Dr Dre, Snoop Dog, Eminem, Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar.
I'll probably be too busy eating, drinking and talking to pay any attention like usual but it's cool that they're changing it up a little bit.
