We're on to Houstan: Gamete Thread

I hate KC. But Buffalo is a division rival and there is a lot of football left. As dirty as it will make me feel, gonna have to pull for KC the rest of the way tonight. I will take a long shower afterwards if they win.
They had their asses handed to them...no shower for you.

The Pats need a #1 WR...if BB knew how to pick one. WR is his Achilles Heel.
You're not going to pick one drafting 28-32 every year. He's a lot better than what Ozzie Newsome drafted and Baltimore drafting well ahead of NE all the time. BB at least has some nice WRs he's procured here and there, even though they don't draft a lot of WRs.

I would have to agree with BSF. The Pats have had chances at other receivers in the draft that have turned into stars in this league (see DK Metcalf). And that's far from the only example. Aghalor as a free agent signing is a nice piece but he's not that dynamic number one receiver that changes the offense. Love what Jakobi Meyers is bringing as a UDFA but let's be honest....he should be the #3 WR on this team. It's a problem whether you want to admit to it or not. And BB continues to struggle to figure it out. It's one of the reasons the all time greatest QB didn't want to play here any more. And no, I am not a troll.

BB was reportedly going to draft Deebo Samuel...but, instead, Harry. :coffee:

Also AJ Brown.

He did draft Braxton Berrios, but, practice squaded him...and the Jets stole him. He would have helped out. He's not a #1 WR however.

No offense, but how you do "reportedly" draft someone?

Harry had one catch today for nine yards on two targets. The most telling fact is that they don't even target him. Two years ago, we would have blamed Brady for that but curiously, he is still not a significant part of the offense even when healthy.

I thought it was Meyers about whom Brady told BB, "Don't put him in there because I won't throw to him." It was certainly Meyers that Brady screamed at the most.

Hard to be targeted on the bench.
He can't even get in the game.

Jills fans are acting like they just cemented a Super Bowl victory tonight. It's quite amusing.
I mean, it's a big win for them. 🤷

Also, you're just factually incorrect. Bills fans have no idea how to act when cementing a Super Bowl victory. :coffee:

Same here. You have to. Cincy lost today, too, as did Cleveland, as well as Miami, Raiders, the Jets, etc. A good day overall from our standpoint as AFC fans.

I find both teams annoying as soup du jour teams who are certainly good, but there is this element that each some bonafide thing (chiefs as dynasty and Buffalo as a big game team) and the NFL couldn't be any more wide open.

The 2001-2018 Pats have ruined the expectations for fans of other teams. Every elite team becomes a disappointment if they're only elite for a year or 2, and every elite quarterback becomes a disappointment if they only have one ring. It makes me appreciate what the Pats did over that time even more.

Huge win for them they dominated the Chiefs. Reminiscent of the SB with their defensive game plan. Chiefs have the same record as the Pats.

This is a meteor strike game. If the game was in Buffalo I wouldn't say that because I generally like Buffalo fans. But the game is in KC so a meteor strike restricting damage to Arrowhead might be acceptable.....
as long as mahomes' vacuous baby momma is there, yes!

This might have been the turning point. Texans didn't score after that. Myles Bryant might need to stay on the roster or he might get poached off the practice squad.
My thoughts exactly. I'm soured on Joejuan Williams anyway. He's like a tall Ellis Hobbs.

The Chiefs D was already a sieve and Chris Jones didn't even play. And it's October. I sort of feel bad for their fans because they're going to be disappointed in the end. The Frank Clark call was horrendous and a total gift giving them life to pull away at the end.

Right now, it's looks like the Chargers are the team to beat in the AFC.
