Cowturds: Gamete Thread

We might need Jalen Mills back for this one. Cooper and Lamb are pretty damn good receivers + Schultz at TE has become a player.
Myles Bryant played well in the slot for us yesterday but Mills was sorely missed.

Tough game. IMO Dallas is one of the 5 best teams in the NFC.

It'll be interesting...their defense is decent. Quinn was a good hire.
I think "decent" is a good word. They have some playmakers like Diggs and some guys up front, but they can be had and dictated to. Quinn is overrated, IMO. Lots of gyrations and guys running around like chickens with heads cut off.

That last sentence may be key. I don't think Mac will be thrown off by that. I think he will read them and burn them where they play games.

I'm hoping for our OL to come back, and maybe play like they're worried about their starting positions being at risk. I feel okay about Cajuste at RT, even if Trent Brown wasn't on the team. He's not a world-beater, but he's going to be fine and has a bunch of upside. I'm very worried about Wynn at LT, though. He needs to put his big boy pants on and play. If not, I'm very comfortable with him as a backup OT/OG with Trent Brown kicking back to LT when he gets back.

Diggs is a really special player. He has changed the whole tenor of that defense.

I just don't think they're a high IQ defense. I also don't love their LBs. Van Der Esche has been a 1st rd disappointment, we are familiar with Neal from his Atlanta days, and I know people love this Parsons guy (I don't), but he reminds of Jamal Adams. Fast, physical. but can be rope-a-doped and sort of a one dimensional LB/Safety type. I just think their D can be manipulated.

To me just don't turn the ball over on offense. If they can cut that out going forward that would be nice. the Timing of these Turn overs are killers and it has to be fixed 1st and foremost. The Dallas D is living off of them and if they don't get them they can be had

They'll avoid Diggs. BB is really good in these cases when one player is a stand out on D, they still produce elsewhere.

The Dallas O Line is exceptionally good so we won't get a tonne of pressure of Dak unless Bill can conjure up something special.

One thing or two, actually, that may help is Lawrence is out and Gallup is trying to come off the PUP. So, hopefully those things can play in our favor.

Does anyone know why they released Jaylon Smith?

They have a nice LB core and Jaylon Smith is basically Ja'Whaun Bentley from last year -- can't cover to save his life, but his tackle numbers are inflated.

Are we sure about this? I don't really love their LBs. They're not all that cerebral and Cox is a rookie along with Parsons. I think these guys can be toyed with. Sounds like he was released because of money. And without the tv deal money coming until 2022, it smells like to me that Jerrah didn't like the numbers he was looking for similar to our Gilmore situation.

He also plays for the Packers now, so I'm going to assume he won't be a factor in this one.

You really are all over it. Lol
