To bring a troll's work like Gasper's garbage or any one of those affiliated Globe/98.5 talking head's material on a board like this and pretend it's not trolling, is ridiculous. No real fan takes those people's words seriously. I mean, they've been doing this for over a decade to make money off of the team's back. They just throw things at the wall, unprofessionally so.

If you read between the lines, Gasper's premise is that Mac Jones isn't as good as he does actually look 5 games in setting records, so BB needs to admit his draft mistake and make such a move for Watson.

It insults anyone's intelligence.

I see a lot of arrogance and cockiness from both of them. I think we need to pump the brakes with Miami playing us tighter than in years past. It's oversold during this rebuild. Flores's window is not going to get any wider. That seat will get hotter and hotter. Stephen Ross calls the shots down there and that's bad news for Flores.

I think people should be held accountable is all. The person who started this thread is an obvious troll, IMO. Plugging the board full of threads that waste space for no reason other than to selfishly troll, is the root of the problem, IMO.

It's garbage. I am not saying censor people, but you can't take someone seriously or that they're genuine posting something like that. And, it will never get buried, because all it takes is one person to see it and have the same kind of reaction, bumping the thread.

Maybe take a step back in terms of board politics until you've been here more than 8 minutes.

This board has handled and thrived through far worse than this ("The Troubles!") largely because the moderators avoiding taking quick, drastic actions and overreacting. Instead, they observed, warned, made sure an overall consensus developed on the board, and let people hang themselves. The board, and sometimes even the problem poster themselves, realise that a person just doesn't really belong.

It's not my fault that he/she is seen so easily as a troll. It's weird that you would project that on to me. You should be asking why a newer member is so quick to detect what the person does.

I do not know one real Pats fan (friends, family) who takes what the media trolls do seriously and I certainly don't think it should be taken seriously with fans looking for genuine discussion.

BB is not trading for a suspended QB who is facing serious sexual assault charges, when the team was forced to cut Antonio Brown just 2 years ago due to the commissioner cheating and taking calls from jealous owners because Kraft paid for a handy in a strip mall.

It's not going to happen.

And, it's doubly insulting to see that when we see how well Mac Jones is progressing as the possible rookie of the year, not to mention the fact Mac Jones is so cheap compared to a 35 mil per QB in Watson who is possibly going to trial for very serious alleged felonies.

It's so mindnumbingly trollish, it's unbelievable.

I think 5 is more likely and that is assuming 10 wins a season on average.

Of course that's the impetus and root of his premise. He should be in straitjacket for even concocting such an idea. It's preposterous. It's these kinds of example where these people are not held accountable for their words in the media that is the problem in our society. It's no different than disinformation running rampant in the real world today.

What Watson is accused of is one step away from Bill Cosby territory without the drugs.

Your OP claimed Shula has 347 and BB has 313. That seems like a doable 12 wins per season over 3 years. I don't know where you get 49 from.

That's total wins including playoffs. The regular season record is 328. Bill has 280.

But besides that, you have this team winning 12 games this year?

No, Gasper didn't say anything about giving up Jones plus a first round pick. That was all you, tossing gasoline on a dumpster fire post you knew would start a shitstorm even without your embellishment. Saying BB would likely give a first round pick + Jones was you, and pushing back saying that wasn't unresonable giving that BB signed Cam Newton was just another jab at BB. Look, I get that you don't like BB or the Pats since Brady left and are miserable and rancorous, but why not just go to Brady and the Bucs coach you praise so much? You'll be happier, we'll be happier, UT will be happier, win-win-win.
