Good morning, everyone!

I hope it is a better day today and an amazing week.

Just watched a clip under four minutes of animals hugging and being overjoyed at seeing humans. It just reinforces something I have said many times, animals get what people just don't.

Foodie Tuesday

Chicken Paprikash. One of my favorite dishes at Cafe Budapest (sigh)

You gotta stop, Will. Every path you take leads thru my wonderful Yesterdays. I lived on Marlborough St. 5 Blocks from the Cafe from '72-83'. Lori and I did Anniversary Dinners there 2 0r 3 times. Drove for Red Cab Brookline nights during Law School and Drove her home to Longwood Ave, In Brookline several times to the point of talking to her a bt as she got familiar with me.. She was the picture of Elegance. You wuld think she must be from European Royalty. In fact she was she a poor Hungarian. She told me one evining that she had been captive at Aushwithz and Dachau and she and her mom and sister were allowed to live because they cood cook like hell. I believe I had the Chicken Prika, gods knows I love smoked paprikah. I ;earned to love sweetbreads there. Adored the cold Cheery soup. Goulashes to die for.

Marcia and I loved that place. She insisted on dining in the Pink Room after cocktails in the bar listening to the violinist carry us away. We'd go once a month during the '80s. Those were great times.
I loved the stroganoff. She'd get the Paprikash most of the time. For dessert we'd always get the Gundel Pancake. I can taste it now. We loved that restaurant.
