Looking at the Patriots - 2021

Maybe this should be in the MJ#1 thread, but it was talked about here. Often, young QBs faulter in the SB because the lights are too bright, often because there isn't much SB experience in the locker room. Let's not forget that Mac just won a national championship, along with a couple other teammates. There are also several veterans in the locker room with SB experience. If Mac can get to the dance, the lights will probably not be too bright for him.

Curran says the Patriots are in a great position going forward.
Duh...but it's a good article that touches on a lot of reasons why.

Yep. I've been talking about this since we let Brady go and The Mac pick is now allowing this to come to fruition. I haven't read that yet but I will say this: BB would be very wise to pay him real QB money in 2023. Seriously. Don't wait until after that 4th year. He did this with Gronk (and Hernandez) where he paid him ahead of schedule. The guaranteed money was enough to get Gronk to sign and I think he needs to do it here.

If we see Mac continue to ascend into 2022, the longer BB waits, the worse it will be on the other side. I don't want a 40 mil per QB on this roster. The market has maxed itself out and we don't need to get involved in it.

?
Do you think i shouldn't have put the bourne thing here?
Can we just enjoy what's going on now? Christ...

It's crazy, but with things going the Patriots' way lately, I'm expecting KC to lose tonight (they're currently ahead 13-3), and the Patriots to win tomorrow. I hope so!

It feels really good to come from 2-4 to the #1 seed in the AFC.

What a crazy year.
Agreed, just 2 month ago, we were looking the Pats to be competitive and even if they lost, we knew what we had for a team in the future. What's happening now is almost surreal. After Brady left I was resigned to the fact that we may be just another potential playoff contender and I was happy with that. This has been such an amazing season, buckle up people, this ride doesn't appear to be over yet.

After conducting another master class on both sides of the ball tonight in Buffalo, anyone who doesn’t believe Bill Belichick is the greatest coach in NFL history should permanently be placed on Santa’s naughty list
