Random TB news that doesn't warrant a thread

now imagine what bb would say to him if he were still in n.e.....🤣
Too true, though there’s also the factor of him being virtually certain he’ll never play them again, so bulletin board material isn’t quite the same issue these days. If the Colts play Tampa in the SB I’ll eat crow but let’s be real that’s not happening.

Just look at the list of names on that list? Top tier, blue chip players yet all we get is "we can't afford top players because of the cap." Such complete nonsense. Bill's approach is to always go mid-tier and value depth over super stars. That only works when you have a QB like Brady because the players are mid-tier and the QB has to compensate so much.

It was SO easy for Brady last year. He got his first SB blowout because he finally had an offense where he could just slice and dice all game and go deep and get PI calls because his receives are elite and then just run the clock out in the middle of the third. And he had a defense that for once could truly get after the QB and humiliate the best QB in the game but yet sacks are overrated and not a real stat? WUT?
This post didn't age well.

Tampa's offense was way better last year than we were in 2007. Tampa actually had legit TEs, one of which dominated the SB who used to play for us and a legit run game.

I gave the defense credit for shutting down Mahomes and not losing the game like our defense did to Eli.

You are actually making my point. Lol
our Defense allowed 17 points in that game. Our Offense averaged 38 ppg that season and they scored 14 points and you're blaming the Pats defense? I don't blame the Patriots as much as I credit the Giants Defense. They were able to create tons of pressure on Brady with 4 DL and the LB's dropped back into coverage underneath and took away Welker which freed up the safeties to cover up Moss deep. Maroney was useless in that game as well. Asante Samuel dropped an interception that would have sealed the win for us.

Not to mention Brady threw 50 TD's to 8 interceptions. No, last tears Tampa offense was not better than the 2007 Patriots offense. Oh and there is that whole thing about 16-0.

As for Tampa, Defense wins championships. The Broncos, Seahawks, Ravens, Patriots they all had stellar defenses.

You see this is why I respect Goodell. His consistency in handing out punishments is second to none. Using cell phones on the field to communicate? Slap on the wrist. Pipe in crowd noise through a PA system to make it difficult for an opponent? Slap on the wrist. Allegedly deflate footballs with no proof? 4 game suspension. Film in an area deemed off limits? Loss of draft pick and 1M dollar fine. Beat your wife? 4 game suspension. Lie about your Covid vaccination status? Fine. Lie about your covid vaccination status? 3 game suspension. The consistency is incredible.

I would call that being a tremendous teammate.
Of course you would!😂 But, if Bell is looking for a part-time job, say...maybe babysitting for Tompa's kids? Sorry, Antonio Brown, Tompa's live-in buddy, already has that one locked-up (no pun intended.) You know, the same guy that last spring you told us here had really turned his life around thanks to Tompa and Tony Robbins?😆

I've been meaning to post this here but keep forgetting. This is a great book (A Season in the Sun: The Inside Story of Bruce Arians, Tom Brady and the Making of a Champion) that chronicles the Bucs championship season last year with a focus on Brady of course. I know a lot of people up here are avid readers and Lars Anderson is a tremendous writer who has written on legendary players and teams in the past. There are things in this book that have not already been reported on by the media. It's been a great read.

And also evidence of an organization that gets it in terms of Brady's impact and ability to elevate his teammates and letting him have that leadership role that was key for them winning the super bowl last year and making a run at it again this year.

Yeah, AB has turned out GRRRRREAT!

10 receptions for 101 yards today.

How is Harry doing BTW?

Well, he hasn't assaulted anyone yet nor faked medical certs, but there's still time! If he screws up enough, maybe Tom will ask him to come live with him and Yoko?

Just remember posts like these trolling Brady when you get upset on the main forum.

It ain't trolling if it's fact. Tom has taken in a repugnant person and clearly made Arians look like a duplicitous moron when Arians changed his tune on the "one more screw up and he's gone".

It's trolling. Just make sure you can take it as well as you can give it.

Mac Jones stat line from yesterday: 14 for 32, 145 yards, 2 picks. Ouch.
