Black Monday - version 2021

Grier is awful...Tua over Herbert. Paid lots of money to fix last year's bad OL and this year's OL was worse. Yet he still has a job?!
Stephen Ross is a meddling dumbass who has identified the wrong villain in this fight.

Ross (and whoever else in Miami making decisions) are indeed idiots.
Flores will land on his feet.
Maybe Flores was against getting Watson ??

Hey, I think there are signs of definite improvement with you guys. Stick with Saleh, maybe there's a shoot of light there. Jets played tough the last few games.
Wasn't all that long ago that we were saying the same thing about Todd Bowles

There had to be some in-fighting going on that we never heard about.
Poss over Tua - Flores came to Tua's defense prior to the trade deadline when it was reported the Dolphins were in on Watson. He said Tua was his QB and he could win with Tua.
It's been reported recently that Miami still has interest in trading for Watson. (Seems to me that Houston would be smart to approach Flores as their HC)

This is most nonsensical firing of a HC I can remember.

Jesus, speculation that Ross got rid of Flores to make way for Jim Harbaugh?!
As a big big big Michigan State Spartans fan I can only hope that Harbaugh never leaves Michigan.

Most everyone remembers Bill Parcells comment about buying the groceries, but if you're not a pre-BB old-timer you might not remember who was buying the groceries at the time.

The Patriots then director of pro personnel, and de facto GM, was Bobby Grier (Not the hockey player, his dad). During the Pete Carroll era there was a well worn path from the locker room to Grier's office where players like Terry Glenn would go to bitch about playing time and the like.

Bobby Grier's other son, who did not play hockey, is named Chris and is the current General Manager of the Miami Dolphins.

For the record, Bobby Grier Sr is currently in the personnel department of the highly successful [sarcasm] Houston Texans.

This is some funny shit to watch happen to another AFC East team.

Checked Fin Heaven and the few pages I scrolled thru on the thread on it seemed to be mostly happy-to-OK with the firing, provided they have a plan and seems like most want Harbaugh or maybe doug pederson.
they do NOT want any more Pats/BB disciples
can't say I blame them on that... not like any of them did much. Flores was probably the best one so far 🤷
