SUPER Wildcard Weekend Game Patriots @ Bills Gamete Thread - Saturday 8:15 PM

Again, just my opinion... and I am not real big on the shoulda/woulda/coulda thing but... i think if one removes Brady years, Belichick's record isn't exactly sterling.
In fact, it is sub .500. So, again, in my opinion, and I most certainly may be wrong, the final chapter in that book has not been written yet. Can he prove it without the GOAT? Time will tell.
Ah well, that has little to do with this game. And this year certainly won't prove anything either way.

But in the end, it doesn't matter much. Brady is gone. I'm a Patriots fan and looking forward.

History will take care of itself.

I agree it has little to do with this game. Your comment was with regard to Boston writers and what one specifically said about Belichick. 'twas that which I was addressing.

The topic of the article did relate to this game though.

Don't forget Allen rushed for 600+ yards and 8 TD's in 11 starts as a rookie. As a pop warner quarterback, Allen's arm strength was probably already as strong as Mac's now. Allen turns the ball over too much but he has so many plus plays that he more than makes up for them. He looks like he's going to be an at least near-elite quarterback for the next decade. I don't see that potential with Jones.

Let's see…

Should I go with your judgment or with Bill Belichick's?

While Bill certainly isn't perfect and I see him make a mistake or three I'm gonna go against the odds and run with Belichick rather than you.

I'm sorry.

FYP

Again, just my opinion... and I am not real big on the shoulda/woulda/coulda thing but... I think if one removes no years of any Jills coach you will have the same number of Lombardi's in their trophy case. So, again, in my opinion, and I most certainly am not wrong, the final chapter in that book has not been written yet. Can the jills win it with any coach? Time will tell.

So, you're a Billies fan?

This is the hilarious thing. There are exactly zero people pounding their chests about how the Patriots are going to blow out the Bills on Saturday. Literally no one.

Yet, it's post after post after post of Bills hype propaganda. That screams about someone trying to talk themselves into something. 🤷

Like I said, I'm on to 2022, and I haven't said differently, and that's the case for a lot of Patriots fans here. So I just don't understand their point. Other than trying to get clicks for their 'takes', which if they're anything like their posts here, are probably like those old Bleacher Report fan articles with all the spelling mistakes. :coffee:

The Billies won 4 superb owls...they deserve to act the way that they do.

So you’re a Bills troll, eh? So glad you crawled out of the muck. Where were you the last 20 years?

one thing for sure.... the pressure is on the Bills. they are expected to win and make a deep run. Foxx, HK or other bills fans that have wandered in can tell us what they would or wouldn't find a "success" (no joking, what would you accept vs. be disappointed). is it SB win or bust? SB appearance ok even if loss? AFC Champ game if they play well and it just doesn't work out this year?

Pats making playoffs with a rookie QB is enough of a success this year for most (all?) of us here. we have the luxury of a lot of success in recent years/decades so maybe we can roll with it and let things develop.
I would LOVE pats to win of course, and want to see a solid effort, especially if Mac can play well in the elements (which we all admit he is not accustomed to but will have to learn to deal with).
I also enjoy (and can relax a lot more :) ) watching other NFL games, so I'm going to enjoy this weekend full of games no matter what happens

Are you really that unable to form your own thought?

You go ahead and keep fucking that chicken. I'm sure it will work out as well as demanding the Offensive Coordinator with a 15 year track record of nearly unprecedented success and achievement be fired for 'Some Guy'.

Jones will be a Patriots for many years to come. And this will carry forth lots and lots of sadness for you.

You sound scared. Are you scared? You're not going to let this rookie beat you twice in your house in the same season, are you?
Handing off the ball 200 times isn't really him beating anyone

Bills crying for a dome because their QB can't play in weather yet they scream and shout about how tough he is. You can't make this shit up. :ROFLMAO:
Actually, Bills' FANS are asking for a Dome. Between the weather and having a multiuse venue, it makes sense.
The Bills TEAM keeps saying no.

We have complainers about our OC, mostly when we when we lose. The Bills have fans that are complainers about their OC, mostly when they lose.
If the OC calls 50 plays a game, then a few of them are going to be bad play calls.
But the real reason a play call doesn't work poor execution by by the players.
It also can be the the professional football players on the other side of the ball make good plays.
It's always been picking the low hanging fruit to get on the OC play calling. I've seen it time and time again by different poster over the years that I've been on these message boards. Some just obsessed with it.
Does your guy call runs up the gut on first and second down outside of the 15 yrd line? Ours does weekly...

Why, does the weather bother you that much?

Well, yes.

Betcha never heard of the ultra strategic 3 screens IN A ROW inside the red zone concept, have you?

LOL

Just want to point out that running QBs eventually get injured. RG3 was great once upon a time.
Did you see potential in Brady in 2001? Same coach, same system, same arm strength, same motivation & drive. There is 1 difference...Mac's IQ. Mac was the National Student Athlete of the Year. He has some smarts. Some have said he has a photographic memory. He'll learn quickly. I'm confident of that.
I think his rushing output had gone down each year, til this year
