Wildcard Weekend - Other Games

Poor Jerrah.

“It was quite a letdown — quite a letdown,” Jones told reporters. “We’ve got good players in there. Really good players. … Very disappointing that we couldn’t get it done. I would like to say that when I look at the year, I feel one way. But the year, a big part of it when you’ve got a team like this, is winning tonight. And we didn’t get it done tonight and that’s big-time disappointing.

“When you get this combination of players together, you need to have success,” Jones continued. “Because we all know how it goes in the NFL. The whole thing is set up to take away from the best and add to the ones that need improvement. Personnel-wise, I think we have one of the best.”

Asked if there was any possibility of a coaching change, Jones declined to broach the subject.

“I don’t even want to discuss anything like that at this particular time,” he told reporters. “No discussion of anything. … I’m not going to discuss coaching, the preparation, any of those things. That’s not on the table. The game speaks for itself.”

If you didn't know differently you might think Jason Garrett was still coaching that team. 14 penalties by the Cowboys. That QB draw that allowed time to run out at the end.
Jerrah's best chance to win something since 2013 or 2014 and it's all for nothing. Now he's likely to lose his OC and his DC + some players he can't afford to keep under the cap.

Life sucks for Jerrah and I feel like a horrible person because I'm loving every second of his misery.
I don't feel horrible for enjoying it.

Man, I am horrible.

wow, dak supports fans throwing shit at people?

I always thought Dak was a pretty impressive guy, but that was an incredibly dumb thing to say. He better start working on his
apology speech stat. It'll be something like this:

Man, am I embarrassed. I was really upset when I thought the fans were throwing stuff at us, but once the reporter explained
that they were chucking stuff at the refs instead, it really seemed, for a few seconds there, that it was an excellent idea. I wasn't
rooting for any of them to get killed or badly hurt, you understand, but just maybe banged up a little to send a message to
other refs who were thinking about throwing flags on our team.

I wonder if the NFL will fine him for that. Actually they should give him no less than a 1 game suspension.

So...this is coming from a guy who was nominated his team's candidate for the Payton Man of the Year award??

Dallas usually plays well enough each season to sucker people in, and then gets bounced early from the playoffs. They never seem able to figure it out. :cool1:

The refs are terrible, but, I think that his team can take credit for the loss.
The refs are terrible because of teams like Dallas, who commit 30 penalties a game, and can only get called for 15.

Dak handing the ball to his center instead of the ref like every other team teaches you to, cost them the game.

It's not worse than Romo dropping the extra point, but it's pretty damned close.

So many people are dogging on the Nickelodeon broadcast but this is honestly the best thing for the NFL. Other leagues would be smart to follow suit.

It had my grandkids watching the game! They loved it. All pro sports need to bring in the younger folks

The Dallas Cowboys. Completely irrelevant since 1993. And counting.
