I thought about this a bit more with Agholor. Agholor has never been a standout for any team he has been on. He has been good but nothing to write home about. Agholor can't be cut, he is a 15M cap hit. Perhaps maybe trade him?
 
Ja'Marr Chase is winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. Joe Burrow significantly improved in all metrics this season and the main reason why is Chase. The Bengals won 4 games last year, the substantial offensive growth of the team this season has them in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Mac Jones had a much better season that all other rookie quarterbacks. Fields (28th), Lawrence (29th), and Wilson (31st) ranked at the bottom of the league in quarterback rating. Their teams were awful. Davis Mills deserves an honorable mention for playing decently in an offense that was entirely inept otherwise.

No, discussion of Mac Jones isn't celebratory only. He hasn't been perfect but the needle is way up. But too often the thread has been derailed. Your post definitely wasn't like some which are covert trash talk, but it is hard to keep the thread about Jones and nothing else. Thanks. And random football news thread works for anything, including Chase.
 
I said nothing in that last post which would have warranted deletion. Delete that trash calling me a dummy when I was merely replying to a post by a Moderator mentioning Chase and other rookie quarterbacks in comparison to Jones.
