Looking At The Patriots 2022

It is a new season, new players and new expectations from all teams. I am looking forward, not backwards to last season.
Yeah, me too. Sometimes I can't stop my fingers from replying to a troll, especially one who is soooo proud of division titles in 2+ decades. This is what happens when I don't ignore people I should. Easy to fix.

Back on topic, can't wait to see the sophomore version of Mac with new WRs. Especially TT.

Please put this crap in the Brady sub forum where it belongs. ;)
:coffee:
Yeah I see your wink. But they are TEAM SB wins. He can mention them here whenever he (we) wish. Your point may sound in your belief system, perhaps, where Brady did it on his onezees. That's the shit that belongs in the Brady Forum.

The New England Patriots has been selected as the 2022 Pete Rozelle Award winner by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA).

“Stacey James and his staff have been a tremendous aid to Patriots reporters for decades, but never more so than during one of the most trying seasons in NFL history. Their collective patience, professionalism and flexibility allowed one of the league’s largest beats to continue providing around-the-clock coverage during a pandemic, most notably through the 857 Zoom calls they coordinated last year,” said Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald.

He's a quality player who for a variety of reasons didn't have a good year. I'm not giving up.on him at all. Sure, he's in a "got to show me" situation, but he's proven to be good before.
I don’t think he’s ever had 500 yards receiving in a season.

Yeah, I know who he is...I was hoping that BB signed him from the Titans. I watch football bub. He was very underrated for the Tits.

Ekuale's choice: Defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale was elevated from the Patriots' practice squad seven times last season and provided some interior pass-rush presence.

Little-known story: He considered an opportunity to join the Bills for the playoffs but elected to stay in New England on the practice squad instead. Ekuale will now vie for a roster spot at a position that includes returning starters Davon Godchaux and Lawrence Guy, along with Christian Barmore, Byron Cowart, Carl Davis and sixth-round pick Sam Roberts.

Best net rest differential relative to opponents, 2022 regular season: Bills +13 days Lions +11 Broncos +9
And worst: Packers -13 days Texans -10 Patriots -10

This is exactly my reason for optimism. It's not like we we're projecting what he could do, he has already had a level of success that made him one of the top two FA Tight Ends. Also there was alot going on last year in terms of the large number of new players being implemented into new roles, new QB, it's actually amazing it went as smoothly as it did.

re: The TD catch in the Above article. There has been (imo) a bit of a sea change in the development of college receivers. The task of getting one foot in is incredibly different than the two foot Tippy tap. The two foot ability is a big draft day plus for would be pro receivers.

He most likely going to see limited playing time. Its a very difficult transition . Going from the Baylor to patriots offense. We seen through out the years . Rookie WR's struggle to make that adjustment.
