what are you listening to now?

Time flies! RHCP have claimed that FNM ripped them off. Totally disagree. FNM is better.
Yeah, Mike Patton and Anthony Kiedis did not get along at all. I don't care who stole what. If anything, Kiedis should have tried to steal Patton's vocals because he's isn't a fourth the vocalist that Patton is.

Very good.

Being of that age to a degree some of their stuff really hit me while others fell on my youthful deaf ears.

Billy Corgan is an interesting cat.

His awful, self corthartic and rambling introduction to Pink Foyd to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was uncomfortable and almost embarrassing to me for him.

That said, very interesting and talented mind.

So the words in these songs don't really translate the meaning, feeling.
Anyway I am done after this one,
But it is beautiful to me.

Have a great Sunday, Go C's.

Not bad.

Not in love with a lot of world music and I have conceptual aesthetic theory on why. Surprise. 😆

As you know I have a new older lady friend who lives on the beautiful Greek Island of Rhodes.

I have little interest in modern Greek culture and her Swiss heritage seems to agree.

Unique perspectives abound.

But not bad AOT. Not bad. 👍

Oh, and it's Wednesday now so yeah Go Cs!!!

For real man. You totally should leave Cali and not return to PA and the Steelerz. Your soul and heart really seems to belong in New England.

Let's get it tonight men! 🔥🔥🔥

Keidis from my 20 somethings in The 90s carries a tiny place in my heart but there is no comparison between he and Mike Patten in either musical, conceptual or lyrical ability.

Have seem Faith several times and Pattten in some insane band of his creation when they opened for one of my all time favorite bands Tool im the 2000s.

The win everyday of the week goes to Patten.

Nowhere near as popular over the years as the Pepper's. And that has me reflecting on my old best friends wife's comments. Very intelligent concery oboeist married to my braindead lifelong proud theif of an old buddy.

She, in the same conversation with me launched an argument that Doug Flutie, like Michael Jordam should have been banned from their respective leagues for being so much better than than others.

Um, I know where she was coming from and it's a very ugly and contradictory place. Contradictory for her especially for her constant calls to me asking me to come over and see her cuz I was light-years smarter than my buddy and she deserves that roll in ze hay.

Along the same line of thinking she did more than suggest that classical orchestras, symphonies and whatnot absolutely deserve taxpayer public funding because the general public, the masses are too bourgeois and dumb to understand its significance to financially support them.

A lot I could say on that.

While I reject her solution out of hand your post about Keidis and Patten has me reflecting on the dumbing down thought.

Thanks. 😊

I'm not saying that I hate RHCP. They have a bunch of awesome tunes! Their guitarist is amazing! Scar Tissue, BSSM is an awesome album. Their super pop songs are garbage, but, that's what pays their bills...I get it.
