Your Moment of Zen

OK, I figure I had to work at least one football bit in here.

OK, youse gots to share.

What's the varietal?

Chablis, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling?
It was a Chardonnay but it’s the place more so lol... if it wasn’t a fish night it would have been a pinot noir and I’ve tried a ton but my new fave weirdly enough is A to Z an Oregon brand but I also like the Firestead as well an Oregon brand. I’m not a fancy gal simple but tasty.

Sunset, water, Mountains and a drink lol

i typically don’t favor whites since I normally only drink wine with dinner and tend to season a bit more heavily than others. Hence I need a red to match the robustness of the meal.

that being said, I am very fond of the Black Opal chardonay from Australia. Lots of buttery overtones. More robust than your average white.

Studied Zen and the Tao when I was 17 years old in a NH youth detention center halfway house.

Everywhere I go I seem to catch someone's intrigue which lights a fire of interest.

When I was 17 it was young guy intern who was going to college for psychology. Awesome guy.

Became intrigued when we were sitting on the stairs with a few other delinquents.

He was talking about his class on forensic psychology.

I asked if the subject was named so after after psychoanalysist Sandor Ferernczi. (Enfant Terrible)

The other delinquents walked away and we walked to the park in downtown Manchester, NH for the first of our many talks.

When we got back he wanted to see the 100 some odd classic literature, poetry and philosophy books in my room.

Asked me what my plans were for the night and I said, get stoned and drop some acid. He said OK. Be back in the morning.

Came in my room in the morning with the Tao of Pooh and a book on Zen.

As I'm wont to do went on a deep dive into the subjects.

A good amount of value they carry that I don't seem to understand.

Grabbing a beer and a smoke and headed outside to sit on the porch to maybe get to to know some of these cute women. Hookers? I dunno. Don't care cuz....

Fuck the Celtics.

Zen? 🤔✌️

I remember back in school, we used to watch the Muppet show with the stereo on. amazing how many times the Muppet band seemed to be in time with the music on the stereo.

This kinda reminds me of the time I went to Kennedy Space Center (as a tourist, before I went there for work).

In the museum, they had what appeared to be a manikin wearing one of the space suits used on the moon for Apollo.

It was free standing in the museum and when someone eventually walked up to it and touched it, it started to tip over. The person freaked a little and then tried to push it upright, when suddenly the suit tried to grab them.

Yes, someone was in the suit the whole time, just waiting to freak someone out.

I took your advice....We had Pistachio encrusted scallops with asian rice and I paired it with the Black Opal damn!

You're welcome. All part of the service.

BTW, my wife bought a refrigerator magnet that says the following:

When I met Mr. Right, I didn't know his first name was always.

:coffee:
