Bucket List Thread

# 1 for me is a long slow trip of the Mediterranean. From Portugal to Turkey and everything in between including the islands of Sicily, Crete, Malta and the Greek Islands.
It begins next May!

Wonderful. If your hitting the beautiful Greek Isles hit me up.

I have a newish lady friend on the Island of Rhodes. Interesting woman. Raised in a Swiss monastery, speaks 4 languages and is expert tourism and travel from her love of history to her 43 years in the industry. She currently works at a hotel on Rhodes Island an can't wait to get the fuck out and move to the states.

I've always found it interesting that so many get their fill of the local and desire the greener pastures of other locals where the locals are sick of it. 😅

Interestingly or maybe not I've never had any desire to leave this country. Travel actually holds little interest for me. May be my lifelong love of world literature, maybe.

Been all over this country and I actually don't care for most of it. Lol

Bucket List. So far I have 2. For whatever reasons I have lived a huge life full of experience in many ways by my now 50 years.

I have completed 2 very full Bucket Lists.

The beauty of life is there seems to be no end to passion or fascination if we look at the world in a decent light.

Onto Bucket List 3.

So far the most wanted experience is to see the band Tool, whom I've seen 11 times live or their offshoot A Perfect Circle whom I have only seen once, years ago at an auditorium at Berkeley Boston. I would very enjoy seeing either one or Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails in the acoustical and almost mystical surroundings of the Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado.

Something about that place just seems to speak the souls of the artists and wonderful and touching soul filled performances follow.

Great thread. 👍

I’m sure I’ll forget many but a select few I remember in my just waking up state.

Drive a race car around my local dirt track, a non wing sprint car preferred.

Go on a long motorcycle trip on the east coast that includes the tail of the dragon. Have to get a motorcycle again. Be neat to do it with my dad before he decides to not ride anymore.

I’m sure I’ll add more as I remember.

Looks phenomenal all the way around.

I just looked into it because I have several questions. The biggest one is this plane is being classified as nuclear powered. Fascinating and wonderful if it is. Yet the video says it will receive fuel from commercial airliners. Not sure a nuclear powered anything requires much fossil fuel.

In the process of looking into it I had to sign up for a new reddit account for, reasons.

Just cuz I have been wondering if shit gets curated differently I totally hit the non binary gender option during the sign up.

Let the fun begin. 😅

This really does look amazing.

That was really something.

Of course, I found myself wondering what the cost of building such a ship is and what flying on it as a passenger would cost.

I also thought of the ending of NETFLIX's "Don't Look UP" for those that have seen that.

I can picture the Kardashians (or somebody like them) bitching about the quality of the escargot and how bored they are while they cruise above
the Earth burning below along with 5000 other beautiful trillion and billionaires.

This should be the logo painted on the side of that flying whale:
