Looking At The Patriots 2022

I guess I'm not detecting the "optimism" you mentioned. There's some of that here, but not alot, and virtually none in the media.
There's never any in the BSM, because it's bad for ratings, and there's rarely any in forums, because that's not the kind of people who usually flock to them.

I mean, read a Game Day Thread during a blowout win. :coffee:

I try not to let to much of what the media likes to write or for that matter what many fans say influence what I think preseason. I look more at the history of what BB has been able to do with the talent he has on hand. I do see the patriots as having improved in a number of ways. I don't think the final product is under contract yet.

I'm with you. I just think that right now we're members of a distinct minority.

With good reason. That roster was legitimately bad and Newton was poor. I believe going 7-9 with that team was one of Bill's best coaching jobs.
I would agree...they were supposed to TANK! :coffee: sCam had nothing to do with winning either. It was BB's fault! I'm sarcastic, but, serious.

I still firmly believe they would have made the playoffs had he not gotten covid. We forget how good they were to start off.

Alright. Just would kinda like to throw some flowers to the living here as flowers are justly for the living.

Tommy, we've been around these parts for a while. And while we may have never spoken one on one I've seen a little bit of you through Lisa on Facebook and while me and her seem to hate each other for kinda bullshit reasons we used to be friends. And goddammit I still like that asshole. Blocks deletes and all. We totally rent space in each other's ❤😅😅

I just want to say from what I've seen in world terms you and I would likely agree on little.

You have tremdously and beautifully unique and independent mind and heart and that is something I value above all else. Not to mention a good mind which most often sees through the bullshit so many are tied to.

Thank you for being you. High five man. Keep rocking it. The world is starving for more of you.

Go Pats. :patpatriot32:

❤❤❤✌✌✌✌

Eh...it was only a matter of time when the rest of them caught up. BB would have probably still drafted Mac Jones at 1 if the Pats truly tanked though...so, there's THAT to chew on as well.

Ranking all NFL teams' cap positions over the next few years. BB has shown extraordinary cap discipline, imo.
(Our cap space available for '23 is 2nd highest in the league.)

An explanation by Evan Lazar on the new outside zone offense seen during mini camp.
Is this exploratory or is it real?

Look at New Orleans that teams going to be gutted, Cleveland too!
How funny would it be if, We made a trade with NO's next year as they have to cut salary and we could absorb a hit for an expensive veteran but the cavet is we get the rights to bring sean payton in as offensive co-ordinator . (Not going to happen but would be very belicheckian, and stephen ross (miami owner would lose it)

Sean Payton and T12 might very well go to Miami next year...BB helped Flores screw up their plans this year though. With the law suit.

The number of players who opted out or missed games due to Covid doomed the team. Cam and his inability to learn from his own mistakes just sealed their fate.
