Dulfins lose draft pics, owner fined

Let's not forget Brady put his Brookline house up for sale in early August, 2019 when he was in talks with Stephen Ross. The facts are right there all in black and white.
This should put to rest any continued talk about BB running Brady out of town.

Jerry says it well...
The entire story is how I feel, and the part that really stings is this.
"But I also believe that team had another Super Bowl run in it. They were the defending champs. They had the No. 1 defense in the league, by a lot. Stephon Gilmore was the DPOTY. Julian Edelman had a career year. At the very least a postseason run was a good possibility. They were 12-3 going into the final week. All they needed was to win a game where they were favored by 17.5, to secure the playoff bye and be two wins away from their fourth straight Super Bowl.

But they lost. And the team they lost to was, of course, Miami. Is it any wonder, given the fact the most hyper-prepared player in league history was provably engaged in contract talks with the visiting teams' owner? As Matthew Slater said about this year's Patriots, a team will take on the personality of its quarterback. Talking about 2022 Mac Jones, that's a compliment. With 2019 Brady, it means they were not fully engaged. He was distracted, and by Associative Property of Quarterbacks, so were they"

For anyone who doubts Brady's commitment in 2019, just go back and look at his post-game pressers. The team went 8-0 yet Brady moped and sulked through those pressers. Look at the comments from the likes of Meyers back then, during the season, when he said Brady hadn't talked to him or some other young receivers yet.

I remember when he did that, a few people said it wasn't a big deal...putting his home up for sale.

Thoughts...

Brian Flores was fired as coach of the Doofins because he wouldn't play ball with the tanking and tampering. The Doofins stated reasons for firing him pretty much confirm that.

I have a hard time imagining that Bill didn't know about the tampering with Tom, both in 2019 and last offseason, he's just too wired in.

I think it plausible that Bill maneuvered to keep Brady out of the east. I'd guess Flores was pissed about getting fired, not sure Bill threw him the text without foreknowledge, maybe he knew it would fire him up, maybe they hatched the plot in advance, I hope they did, fuck Ross.

As for Tommy, I think its always difficult for fans to think of the players as employees of the team. Tom doesn't (and never did) feel the same way about the team as we do. That said, his saintly halo is certainly knocked askew by these revelations. Talking to a division rival while starting at QB in the regular season and playoffs (and playing like ass) is not a good look, no matter how you spin it. Getting a coach fired after trying to do the same thing again 2 years later is kinda sleazy.

As for Tom being "butt-hurt" about not getting a "real" extension, If you sign a deal that locks up a 43 year old guy long term, I don't think you are thinking of the future of your franchise. No one is bigger than the team, Tom always said that, but towards the end he didn't believe it anymore. The Pats in 2020 weren't winning a SB no matter who was at QB. I'm OK with how it worked out, and happy with our QB1.

BB knew it, the Pats knew it and, for that matter, I knew it and discussed it many times on Brady's subforum.
BB not only knew it but he was so angry he accidentally sent a text to Flores about getting the job opening pretending it was a mistake.
BB knew and did something about it.

You think this makes Brady look better?
She actually thinks it's of no consequence. Employment contract? being paid millions by your contracted team? Going behind your employer's back, illegally, and discussing joining a major division rival? Means nothing to Mazz and others like her when it comes to Tom.

He can literally do no wrong. It's the definition of a cult.

Brady could get caught twisting the heads off of kittens and Mazz would be on here telling us how the world has too many kittens and what great man he is for killing them.

I could picture her having a one night stand with Brady behind a country and western Bar. Then the next day she gets a herpes outbreak and she ends up beaming because she will always be a part of him. 🤣😂🤣🙄❤️❤️❤️❤️🐷🐷🐷

She’d refuse medical treatment!! :ROFLMAO:

Mazz blew off 2 clear warnings so if you want to converse you'll need to go to Tompa Boy planet
Hard to believe that place even exists anymore.

What's next? A Bucky Dent forum?

Speaking of TB pressers, I'd guess there will be some interesting ones in the days and weeks to come. Hopefully he gets asked the right questions. I'd like to be a fly on the wall in Krafts office too.

So do I but I highly doubt it. They never asked Peyton about his ”wife’s“ steroid treatments.... just saying.
