In Celebration Of Bill Belichick, Mac Jones and the NE Patriots

Rodney Harrison should be in already. I don't recognize a hall of fame without him in it (as I've said many times)
Willie Mac too IMO - would love to see Big Vince get in, but I have little doubt that voters will overlook him because he didn't show up on the stat sheet.

This. Nose tackle flat out needs sacks. Over 40. Vince had them but just not enough. God I hope I'm wrong.

But he did have that awesome INT/return (and 3 INTs total, not bad for a NT!), plus the ButtFumble! That's gotta count for something!

...but I've already resigned myself to Vince being snubbed.

I agree, although I understand the argument against.

I think Vince will get in, just based on he was the best defensive player in the league for like a 3-year run there, but even then, I get the lack of sacks argument.

There is no argument against Rodney Harrison. None.

I think Vince caused such disruption in the D Line, the opposite O Lines had to double-team him, which definitely cut down his sack potential. I think any objective HOF committee making the decision will know this and take it into account. A good PR campaign can be very useful here, letting folks know exactly how good Vince was. Ask Nick Mangold. Vince was All-Pro for 4 years. I think Bill and RKK will make a major push out there to get Vince in.

30 + sacks, 30 + ints? Not an argument in the world, IMO, too.

I agree about Rodney as well, Tommy, however..........

we have documented evidence of multiple years where active, officially rostered NFL professionals voted Rodney as the dirtiest Player in the league at the time the voting was conducted

so it's like taking the pulse of kids at the High School level as to who they like when they judged him a meanie for punching them in the shoulder in the lunch-room or some shit

IMHO, NFL peer popularity breeds media bias because: readership / hot takes / clicks etc.

49 Sportwriters vote the HOF, so I think "they" will continue the anti-Rodney dirtiest-bias until he can get to be considered by the Senior Candidate Selection Subcommittee which is a 9 member sports media group

although, currently Ron Borges sits w/ his thumb-up-his-ass on that group --- so there ya go

If dirty players weren't allowed in the Hall of Fame, you'd have to kick out half the class from before 1995.
