Week 3 Ravens vs Patriots

They were saying Mac was screaming in pain. Now, I don’t think ACL ruptures have you screaming in pain. We’ve seen players who have done their ACLs hobble off the field not looking in real pain at all.

Fingers crossed.

There were like 4 different injuries that could have happened on that play, and none of them good. (High-ankle sprain, ACL, MCL, Broken Leg)

I'm no expert of course, but it looked like his ankle got rolled and went the opposite way. It could be some type of fracture or a bone break. Some type of high grade sprain, too.

There were still a lot of things to like about the Patriots there. Mac will have the focus on him for the turnovers and decisions, but he did a lot of good things as well. Some of his passes were excellent and he showed great mobility at times getting out of trouble and picking up 1st downs. Parker was very good but he does need to be more aggressive in fighting for the ball. He had two balls thrown at him in the EZ and one was batted away and the other the INT. He didn’t really fight for either. He has to look to dominate the DB and get on top of him, over him. Mondre was very good and Harris not far behind and Strange looks a good blocker. Mac was again, quite well protected by his O Line.

This is why Hoyer should be the QBs coach and not the damn backup.

Mac was not the sole reason we didn't win. If you think that we clearly saw two different games.
Maybe not the sole but after that int in the end zone his decision making is a serious? You have the momentum and the QB has to recognize the situation.

Damnit. Why do you guys always make it so difficult on the Steelers.
It's still early but...a little help would have been appreciated.

Agreed on pretty much all, but the bottom line is there are no participation trophies in the NFL and this was a winnable game.

Hey Raiders,

Just kidding on that trade, turns out Stidham could be useful for the Pats...

Wached the injury again. It’s his left ankle for sure. it gets trapped under the defender and it twists horribly. That could be an ankle fracture or a bad rupture of a tendon or ligament. It really did get turned awfully.

I reread. I took it as it came across my screen that was what you meant-sole reason for the whole game. Forums are like that sometimes.

Damn, Jackson is really threading these passes.

I've known for a while that Jackson would grow into something far more than the best runningback in the NFL.

Bill sees it too and was not blowing smoke when he said he's a legit MVP candidate.
