Boston Bruins hockey

My take, the Bruins didn't get any stronger in the off season, more like treading water but I'm glad Bergy will be back and Krecji too. We've got a lot of youth on this team and some good mentors to teach the way. I am not expecting much this season, if they make the playoffs, great, but other than that, just beat Montreal and I'll be ok with it.

If Marchand and McAvoy were not going to miss the first two months. They would be a lock for the playoffs. Who knows where they will be in the standings. By the time they get all their guys back from injuries.

Our best D man and 2nd best winger, gotta tread water at least until they get back.

B's off to a much better start than I expected, scoring a lot of goals and playing some decent defense, they should get another win tonight against the Sens and put them at 4-0 and in first place in the division. Obviously a long ways to go but a good start so far!

The firepower has been fun. Debrusk was awesome last night, and Pasta’s goal was amazing.

Debrusk came to play last night. It looks like he found peace of whatever demons were sabotaging him in 20 and first half 21 and is working at achieving the potential he was showing in 2019. I'm happy for the guy.

Pavel Zacha has been a nice add as well and when Brad returns they're going to have 2 very strong lines at 1 and 2. The young guys are playing well and Greer has been impressive on the 3rd line.

Should have kept my mouth shut, what a terrible performance by the Bruins against a winless team.

There's going to be a lot of games like that, the turnovers and defense is so bad at times. They're basically the Maple Leafs right now. To win games they're going to have to be a front running team, at least until McAvoy and Marchy are back. And I love Pasta and all, and I hope he gets signed, but the amount of times he turns the puck over especially in the neutral zone is maddening, and he never seems to improve in that area.

4 game homestand coming up, this is a good chance for them to get some wins under their belt before they start playing tougher opponents. It starts tonight.

I do love having Krejci back, the way he slows the game down in the offensive end and the creativity is fun to watch. Not too many that see the game like he does.

Pasta has amazed us on occasion, hasn't he?

Goalie Ullmark robs Strome on OT 3-0 breakaway matched by matched by Ducks Goalie Gibson on his ass robbing Pasta with 9 seconds left in OT. Not alot of offensive highlights last night but OT was pretty good!

I think getting Krejci back has made a big difference in their play and Taylor Hall is playing well too. They are off to a much better start than I had expected and I hope it continues until the Marchy and McAvoy return. Next up, Detroit.
