Looking at the Patriots 2023

A new born baby born back then in 2000 would now be done with college and out in the real world and would know nothing else than Bill Belichick's Patriots. Amazing isn't it.
I have three of them.. Born 1998,1999, 2001.

It was a busy time. Not "Flag" busy, but busy none the less.

My son was born in 2001. He always joked about how all he ever knew was winning. I think his friends maybe got a little tired of coming over to our house to watch the Patriots win another Super Bowl. :ROFLMAO:

Same here. I promise you that they get tired of it.

I seem to remember Shawn Jefferson as a pretty decent Patriot. Maybe that was just my Madden playing days. 🤷‍♂️

he was pretty good
7-800 yards/year. nothing explosive or elite but got a lot of sideline first downs. Bledsoe’s 2nd main target behind Coates

Also had a ton of drops.

Yes definitely. He was a different receiver than Agholor though who plays slot too. Jefferson was an outside WR and did a lot of curls and come back routes and hitches for Bledsoe. He was a slightly better Reche Caldwell

They don't make a flat Spidey and skinny post Spidey meme. I can only work with the media that is presented to me. But I will try and do better next time.

McCourty seems to find humor in new teammates perceptions of playing in New England
Reputations are what they are, and it's no secret the Patriots pride themselves on hard work and preparation.
"Guys come in with this thought process of almost like you're going into the military," McCourty said.

He gave an anecdote about how squad meetings typically begin at 8:00 a.m., and newcomers will be seated and ready to go five minutes early -- only to wonder where everyone else is.
"I'm like, 'Man, guys, don't walk in until 7:59 or once it hits 8, because you're not late until its 8:01. And guys are like, 'Really, in New England?' What you thought is not always the reality of the situation."

This is pretty funny

But at the same time, it's good practice that they do show up a bit early. I know the Pats are really big on not being late. There was a story of a Patriots player who purposely got in a car crash to have an excuse when he was running late.

I do that when I'm late for dinner. :coffee:

I am picking my gray matter and I want to say it was Lawyer Milloy who crashed his car on Grove Street in Foxborough on the way to practice. That was back when they practiced at Foxborough State school field and the rumor was that he was stoned off his ass.
