Celtics

The Arod and Aaron Rodgers of the NBA. He turned the ball over 7 times. And at the worst possible times. He did all he could to choke that game away.

Caught this on Twitter this morning.

Love it.

Who knew Twitter was a thing of value? :)

I sure didn't, never used it.

Now, can anyone write up an Idiots Guide to the Twitter app? I cannot figure it out.

240 characters or less would be ideal.

Everything with the Celtics is sunshine and show ponies. How dare I say what I said. And i thought this was a message board. I didn't realize. This is for Celtics cheerleaders and prepubescents, in leotards lol

Bruh, they just won 9 straight, and that's with Smart and Williams both getting hurt in the game.

It's not about 'having to be a cheerleader', I was just pointing out that the only time anyone's posted in this thread was when they dared to drop a couple of regular season games in a row. Tatum's on an MVP pace, and dropped 30-whatever against the Nets, and your only comment was that he turned the ball over 7 times.

Which is too many.

But come on man. They're really good.

It doesn't matter until the playoffs, that's the bar, I get it. Banners. But they're on pace for like 65 wins, only the 85-86 team had more (the best team ever to be on a baskeball court) Maybe a little credit where it's due once in a while.

No it's not all sunshine and show ponies but you trash the team so much I have a really hard time believing you're a Celtics fan. Why do you even watch them if you hate them so much?

Enjoying the ride every game.

Let's go Celtics. jason tatum is a god. rah rah rah. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa they are the greatest team. That has ever been. If you don't think so. Then stop posting here. I see the light dudes. From now on it's nothing but positive posts. They give up 150 points. Who cares. Let's just ignore it. You can only have a great message board when everybody holds hands with each other and shares the same opinions. Nothing stimulates conversation more. When everybody agrees with each other. If they turn the ball over, a shitload. Who cares. Don't bring it up. If nobody talks about it. Maybe they will stop doing it. And Boston fans suck. Imagine caring enough to be critical of the team. Shocking i know. we all need to behave like we are part of a green cult. :ROFLMAO:

Like I said, Boston sports fans are the worst and I'm not saying that as an outsider, I grew up in in. NYYFans has a banner on their website that says "where fans come to bitch about how the team wins"...it's apropos to this. If the C's go out and win a couple titles it will only get worse... :coffee:

It's the opposite. Boston sports fans are the absolute best. The interest in the teams is off the charts. Your opinion of what it means to be a fan is different than mine.

Opinions/Assholes or something.

Mean nothing.

Reality does.

There is great sickness in consistently negative who bitch about even the good things.

And that is no opinion.

I think Boston fans take a view that kind of assumes that their fandom has an impact on the franchises. If that were true, the focus on the negative is the equivalent of always focusing on potential areas for improvement, which is usually a key to any sustained success.

If it's more passive entertainment, this view just frustrates the intention of finding joy in being entertained. :shrug-n:

No, I fully get your part and bleed the local colors just as rabidly as you do (exception being the Bruins and always was...but every kid in that part of the country knew a kid who was a Yankee fan growing up so...) but I also don't anticipate nor expect a level of consistency that is unattainable. The C's have depth like no other team in the league and, when healthy, can run a 10 man rotation with a second unit as good if not better than most team's first unit. This team looks to be historically great and the next Boston sports dynasty appears to be the rebirth of the C's. People need to chill, quite simple

no it isn't

never understood what drives it outside of the vast majority of fans having no idea what competing or performing at a high level is like. Makes me of the drunk fat guy who screams "you SUCK!" at guys who are infinitely more accomplished at something than they will never be at anything...

...now THAT is obviously opinion...

And it is far from limited to sports fans.

Go Cs.

I don't agree when it comes to the celtics. I believe they will beat themselves. When it matters the most. I think they are a stupid team. The little things matter. It's the difference between wining. And losing a title. Turn-overs. In bounding the ball. Shooting and free throw shooting in clutch situations. They lack Mental toughness. The first golden state game brought me back to reality like a bucket of cold water over my head. They will be lucky to win one. Never mind becoming a dynasty. I hope they prove me wrong.

There’s a difference between being a supportive fan and being a whiny little bitch who flames on this board ONLY when something bad happens.
This is an awesome ride, between this and the Bruins. It’s fucking fun!! But all you do is bring it down.

Nothing wrong with being both optimistic and supportive .
You only post to complain.
