The 2023 Playoffs

Brilliant.

Chiefs went from 3 pt favs to 1.5 pt underdogs to the Bengals in less than 24 hrs.
Pro betting sharps loaded up on taking the Bengals with the points.
Vegas had to change the odds.

Brilliant.

Love this line.

"In their own backyard. With Damar Hamlin in the building. Years of pent-up playoff blue balls, ready to ejaculate all over the Bengals, who limped into this game, figuratively and literally, after barely squeaking one out against Baltimore last week And losing two of their offensive lineman in the process!"

Love this picture even more.

I think we need to clear a couple of things up. First, what bills dynasty are we talking about here? I didn’t read the article, so I’m not sure if that is a tongue-in-cheek headline. But there is no dynasty. What they have is one of the top three quarterbacks in the AFC and will continue to contend as long as Allen is their quarterback. They are the team to beat in the AFC East for the foreseeable future. That’s it. Until they prove otherwise, they are not any type of a dynasty. They have not even played in a Super Bowl yet.

It is tongue and cheek and a bit sardonic as the author was shoving it up some place the sun does night shine.

Brilliant.

remember how bitchy diggs acted here when you want a #1 top wr. this is what 99% of them do in adversity. always. even to a great qb.
#nothanks

I think Mahomes injury is a lot worse than Reid is saying. For KC to be a home underdog means IMO that Vegas knows something.

Vegas doesn't know. Pro bettors were pouring money on the Bengals +2.5 so the betting houses had to try and even up the money or risk losing a ton of money.
Otoh, I can't forget Gronk's high ankle sprain in the SB when he couldn't function worth beans. Normally those take 3-5 weeks.

Yeah. High ankle sprains are horrible. I can't imagine Mahomes will be anywhere close to even 75%. I know they will shoot him up but it is his right foot which he uses to push off.

Toradol (ketolorac) won't help much. It's better but only marginally better than ibuprofen.

Hmmmmmm. This one might be a keeper.
I'll go one further.

The last time the Patriots did a rebuild on the fly - 2008-2010, the Jetes were loaded and stacked, and they had a 3 year window...and won more playoff games than the Bills had in the same 3 year window.

Patriots had a couple of good drafts, they reorganized with coaching and smart FA signings, and laid the groundwork for Dynasty 2.0.

I'm not a 'trust the process' person when it comes to sports specifically (re: tanking, high draft picks, etc), but in this case WE HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE TWICE NOW.

I'm sure I can find the 'Fire BB' posts from 2010 after the drive to nowhere in the Jets playoff game (which got BoB pushed out, btw, which is why I'm pumping the brakes on him as an OC, although he did have some success, it didn't translate to postseason), and the 'Brady is Washed' posts to go along with it. I probably made one of the second type.

So yeah, In Bill I Trust, until he shows me he can't do it. And sorry, I need more than 2 wildcard game wins to prove that the Bills are some sort of dynasty-in-waiting.

There's a real chance they finish 3rd in the division next year, but we can't talk about that quite yet, have to see how the offseason shakes out, but their drafts have been complete dogshit for 3 years now.

I knew Bills fans loved to bitch after tough losses, but this is getting out of hand.

isn't the Daily Mail and english newspaper?
I assume this is either a gag or click-bait.
either way, watching the game in the snow (which I LOVE a snow football game) I jokingly thought of the mostly white uni's, although the bright orange helmets kinda thwart that theory.
what was burrow doing while in the pocket, looking for orange and black blobs thru the flakes :p

Excellent post.

for what it’s worth, Brady wanted BOB as head coach if Bill decided to jump ship after the Jimmy trade
