Looking at the Patriots 2023

The answer can be found in the following joke:

Did you hear about Irving Fryar's Foxboro cutlery problem?

Cutlery problem?

Yeah-- the knife in the kitchen, the spoon up his nose and the fork in the road.

Don't know what's become of Irving, but on last look he was on a better life trajectory than Dave Fucking Meggett. 😲

From the article above.
Ouch!

All you need to know about Joe Judge, aside from the fact he led the 32st (worst) Giants offense in the league and made Daniel Jones look like a bust…. is this guy was wearing a full winter sweatshirt hoodie during the summer and preseason when it was 80+ degrees outside !!!

Says it all right there.

The Reverend Fryar if I remember the story at all?

Thanks man.

Wow!

It sounds like the way it looked. Matt Patricia seemed to call games like he was afraid of risking anything. In the end all he did was hold the team back from the potential that was there .

No different than the way he called our defense as DC.
Damn, I hated that "wait and react" bullshit.

If Klemm is hired it appears Scar is good with that.
Klemm worked under Jim Mora while at UCLA.

15 D chess with this Belichick guy.

Let's make the first pick of my tenure with the Patriots in the second round after trading the first for my employment here a marginal, at best, Offensive Lineman and watch him develop into the coach we need for the third and most epic act as we resurrect the Patriots organization once again.

There is no, hold my beer here, it's a full on shove the Dom Perignon straight where the sun don't shine, I got this level of brilliance. 🔥

Long live the King. 👑

Am I a psycho for reading all of this and feeling... almost... a sense of relief?

Obviously I am not happy because they should have made the playoffs. But I've never liked Joe Judge and I laughed my ass off when the Giants hired him. I was hoping that Patricia's year could have at least been such that he could be moved to another (off the field) position within the organization but if that cannot be, so be it.

My sense of relief (if that is even the right word) is because everything outlined is fixable. And while I would not describe myself as an "In Bill We Trust" guy, I do have some faith that he is likely the one coach who can orchestrate the necessary changes. I'll at least afford him the 2023 season to do so. Fingers crossed.

Not a psycho and I felt relieved as well, though I'm not sure I realized it.

The article was, by far, the best actual explanation we've had as to why we couldn't block or throw the ball, so it beats
guessing like we've been doing since TC.

The devil that you know is always better than the one you don't. Assuming that the article wasn't a clever hoax designed to maniuplate us.

Fixable? it most definitely is and there will be extra time devoted to the process of unfucking it up starting in April.

I am wrong way too often, but the way that article depicts things is very much what I believed was happening. Every bit of it.

Patricia and Judge were exposed, almost immediately as frauds. I’m amazed that Belichick didn’t act sooner back during training camp when it was obvious that the professional football players on the New England Patriots were aghast at what they were presented with for coaches. And you can’t be a professional and be OK with KNOWING failure is coming when you also know what needs to happen to fix it. It’s just too difficult for the highest performers.

Can you imagine the conversations had amongst the player???

They KNEW they were wasting a year of their careers from the first week.

Yep. And we're not necessarily going to cut ties with either.

Bill is loyal to "his guys". By that, I mean his fellow coaches and scouts-- the inner circle, not the actual players
because being loyal to players means you are almost certainly going to screw your salary cap up and become
a losing franchise.

And there have been examples of him sticking with people that were under fire several times. . He will not fire
one of his guys due to public pressure no matter how it might appease the critics and make him look better. While it
seems obvious to us that Patricia and Judge sucked as Offensive coaches, Bill will make his own judgement of how it went
sideways which will not be influenced by what we, the media or the players think.

I sincerely hope that his analysis reveals both of them need to find their way elsewhere, but I'm not going to expect it.

Bill is a military thinker and will not listen to the grunts and civilians demanding that a lieutenant be court-martialed as if
their opinions are relevant. Even though we have the best interests of the team at heart, Bill's best attribute is that seeks his
own counsel first and foremost, then will question his inner circle. Then HE will decide.

That's how we roll. Six rings.
