The Bills are going to have more competition this season so it won't be so easy for them going forward.
Some of it is improvement from the Pats, Dolphins and Jets. But some of it is from the Bills regression.
Their window is closing.

If jets get a halfway decent QB they could be trouble
can say the same for the phish, and with pats getting a real offensive coaching staff we expect much better

bills are going to have a much tougher time

if I am Miami I don’t show Tua any $ until he proves he isn’t made of glass, and get a really strong backup because so far Tua can’t stay on field. Maybe they feel Bridgewater is that guy already then he gets hurt… teddy B can’t catch a break on injuries either

Agree on the Jets. Even an average veteran NFLQB makes the Jets a potential playoff team.

Not so much on Miami. I think Tua has proven that he is made of glass and cannot be counted on as a quarterback for an entire season for the dolphins.

As far as the patriots are concerned, my 2023 optimism hasn’t subsided one bit. Bill O’Brien is going to come in and install the right offfense and use the right personnel at the right time in the right situation. Mac will be back to his previous rookie year upward ascension to quarterback top five.

I'm sorry, haven't been following a lot on the NFL rumor mill recently. I want to just have gotten sidetracked.

Is the Lamar Jackson to Miami thing still in play?

I'm on record that I really like Lamar. He would make the AFC East extremely challenging. And I love that thought.

Some well-placed journos are saying the Packers have now had it with Rodgers, they're willing to tell him to PFO.

Which means....the Jete are the prime contender for his services.

I haven't been as in-tune with it either but I heard that rumor as well.
Hard to imagine Ravens just letting him go, but the tag is big $ for someone who's best years may already be behind him due to his playing style.

here's an article from the Miami Herald that I was able to view as I hadn't looked at anything on their site in a while, so you may be able to read it as well (will offer to subscribe but you can click "maybe later" button.

Funny thing is Rodgers doesn't know it yet bc he's in a darkness retreat!

I wouldn't blame the packers either.... they need to rebuild. I would be very interested in how Rodgers would handle a big market like NY vs. a tiny township like GB

As soon as the news came out about Derek Carr meeting with the Jets, GB announced Rodgers wouldn't be back. Not a coincidence.

Teddy Bridgewater is not the guy

he's pretty much worn out his welcome here and Huntley has proved he's every bit as capable of coming up short as Lamar is. I would be shocked to see Lamar back.

Is he?

Not seen much evidence of that.

A bunch of evidence of growth, however.

if l.j. is so great, why haven't the ravens signed him? i think the stat on starting qbs who get to their 5th year signing with their current team is about 0

I actually don't know and haven't heard that O statistic.

Maybe financially?

I don't know.

Maybe there's a question here that an answer may help to clarify things.

Thinking it's something along the lines of where is the decline or projected decline being seen?

Financial factors don't look like proof of much from my stump.

He wants a ton of money.
