Boston Bruins hockey

BTW, great fun seeing Ullmark score his goal.

Cheers
I never thought I would see a goalie goal in real time. Ullmark's goal is the first in Bruins history and just the 9th in NHL history. He lofted it past 3 Canucks coming at him about 30 feet away and hit the center of the net. If the plywood barrier was up on fan night shooting for a car he would have gone home with a new SUV. Plus 26 saves on 27 shots and his NHL leading 30 wins. Hopefully they carry this charisma into the playoffs!

After a mild stumble against Washington, Florida, Tampa and Carolina, it appears that the boys have regained their form. Watching Ulmark score is the highlight of the season for me so far, hopefully there's a few more to add to the list before the season is over.

me neither. I've seen replays but not as I was watching it live
when I saw him hold his stick like that I knew what he was going for

The form was ok. The Canuck’s are an awful team. The Bs were good in the first period. Not really good at all after that. Take the W though.

That was one I wanted to watch but it was blacked out in our area, just one of several reasons why I dislike Seattle so much.

Not their best game, but another win and a truly AWESOME moment for Ulmark. Only 14 goalies in history have done it.

Wow! What a win that was. They were clearly gassed from the long rd trip. Playing back to back games. And find a way to win. Linus stands on his head, facing 57 shots. orlov has a cannon for a shot.

I tuned in just as Calgary tied it at 2-2, only to see them take the lead roughly one minute later.

That should have been the kind of loss you pull your goalie midway through, lick your wounds and move on to the next night. Nope, Ullmark has been just amazing and he absolutely carried that team on his back last night.

As I am typing this, they just covered this game on Get Up and Mike Greenberg referred to the Bruins as "THE best team in sports by FAR." Shocked to see NHL hockey get coverage on that program within the first 30 minutes of the broadcast.

haven't gotten too deep on all the trade deadline stuff, but the way Boston Sports Tonight discussed it was "other teams in the East loading up to take on the bruins". the other teams do need to load up, but if we get goalkeeping like Ulmark gave last night, B's will be tough to beat

That was the worst game I've seen them play all year and yet they pulled off the win, simply incredible stuff we are witnessing. I keep hearing people talking about how other teams have loaded up and will give the Bruins a tough go but did the Bruins not load up as well? And look at Ullmark, he has to be a no doubter as THE top candidate for the Vezina, last nights win is squarely on him.

Anyways, a much need day off today for the B's and then back at it again tomorrow against Buffalo, hopefully they play better than they did last night.
