Since the B's are goners, I'll start this thread for those that want to watch the Leafs turn into Laffs, How Bruce Cassidy and the Golden Knights do, etc. etc
(Go Kraken! :) )

will repost what I put in the B's thread to kick this off....

Maybe we need a separate NHL playoffs thread but I will put this here: watching leafs v panthers game 1 and lots of solid hits and as I type this Panthers up 4-2 doing familiar looking things to,the leafs
not sure who to root for here… it would mean more to the city of Toronto then to the entire state of Florida…I recall when Carolina won the cup I checked out the local newspapers and it was a minor story to them. Toronto/Canada would party all summer
love playoff hockey so will be watching and happy to talk about it
go Kraken!!1!

Rooting for Dallas because I have them in a knockout pool and also because I like money.

money is good!
nothing against Dallas, I'm just half-rooting for Seattle as they are a new team and I think Seattle would care more then Dallas if they won the cup (or go longer in playoffs).
Although the Stars winning another cup before Jerrah and the Cowgirls win... much of anything... would be kinda fun!

Vegas wins 6-4 even with Draisaitl scoring all 4 goals for the Oilers. one night after Pavelski scores all 4 of the Stars goals but they lose to Seattle.

How often to guys score 4 goals on consecutive nights in the NHL, let alone score 4 goals and LOSE? Holy shit, talk about the holy grail of sports betting potential right there.

Glad to see Vegas win, the Canes, not so much. It would be hilarious if Florida beats the Laffs again and go home up 2-0 and if that happens, a sweep is definitely possible.

Watched most of Laffs v. Kitty-kats and while Toronto looked strong most of the 1st period, Panthers got going and took control. Leafs lost the young guy - Knies I think it is - early to an injury of some kind (haven't seen an update) after Sam Bennett slammed him to the ice. cheap on Bennett's part. Florida's 2 quick goals early in 2nd period had the home crowd stunned.
Leafs down 0-2 and headed to Florida.

didn't see any of Dallas v Seattle but see they won 4-2 to even that series up.

Devils v Canes only game on tonight. see if NJ can put up a fight... Carolina looked strong in game one and at times the devils looked overmatched. I'll try to watch more closely tonight.

Oilers spanked Vega 5-1. Didn’t see that coming
three games today with leafs v panthers of most interest to me. I think Carolina will sweep devils or at most 5 game series. Leafs in similar boat unless they show something today

Laffs are done, they are not winning 4 straight over Florida, all that talent and they can't even muster up 1 win but hey, they won their 1st round so that something, I guess.

I'm hoping for a Florida vs Dallas SC finals but I'd be ok with Vegas getting there too. Florida should finish off the Laffs tonight, the Canes/Panthers EC final should be a doozy.

Leafs stave off elimination. Oilers tie series 2-2
saw some of leafs/panthers but was multitasking so can’t say much other then Leafs played like a team trying to avoid elimination

Laffs are holding on for dear life, barely got the win to stay in the hunt but now the pressure really gets heavy on home ice for them and Florida plays well on the road. I can see the Oilers/Vegas series going 7, if Vegas could stay out of the box they should win this series and the real question is can Edmonton win without being given numerous PP's?

Leafs are out
so does finally winning one round count as success for them?
