Thomas, I gave you quite a hard time ten or fifteen years ago and here you still are slinging it like a pro.
Kudos, my dude. Your longevity is almost heartwarming (unless you still rock the recumbent bicycle, in which case we are still natural enemies in the wild).
I can't remember the last time I really enjoyed the mystery of the season unfolding as I did this year.
Didn't so much enjoy the thud at the end, but those come with the territory, even when the boys were clocking Super Bowls, they had plenty. Ok, well a couple anyway.
True Story:
Sat down to watch the game with Dad and got up after the Bills first drive and told him that I wasn't going to sit around and watch the Patriots get beat by 40 points. I didn't even do that when the boys got waxed by Baltimore back in the day. It's the first time in my memory as a...
Did anyone watch season four? I'm just getting around to it finally...I sort of forgot how good this show is. If they ever decide Ragnar needs to die, I think Björn could easily replace him. His character is pretty badass now. Halfway through a binge-a-thon at the moment.
Sorta bummed they didn't get to another Saint of Killers update, but they laid a lot of other groundwork in E03. Odin Quincannon (the bald Meat and Power guy who was getting off on the cattle slaughter) sure is a creepy m'fer. I'm guessing that once all of the story lines are established, the...
Haha, we are going to need a TV/Movie subforum at the rate we are all discussing TV shows. Outcast is terrifically creepy and the premiere was great. I'm looking forward to more of that as well.
I'm really excited for everyone that has no idea what Preacher is all about and get to discover all...
Episode 2 kicked ass once again. If it's this good two episodes in then we are in for a treat if they don't completely screw the pooch writing/directing it.
Looks like Saint of Killers is going to be a player (yay!). That was the dude in the '1881' western segment.
On a sidenote, I had no idea...
Here's a glance at the originals. Obviously Tulip is quite different in appearance, which was a bit worrisome to me at first, but her character as portrayed on the show is pretty fantastic. The guy in the upper left is called The Saint of Killers and I am not sure if he'll be in the show or not...
The big picture is insanity, more or less. Get used to the types of scenes you saw with Cassidy (the Irish vampire) and Tulip in the cornfield, because Garth Ennis (the original writer) has a hell of imagination and the series should be full of that type of thing (not to mention completely...
Fan f'ing tastic television. This was my favorite comic series in the 90's and it looks like they're doing a pretty faithful adaptation.
This show will only get better as it goes along.
