I meant more the one's agreeing with you as they whined before. Anyhow, I was over it. I usually get over it. I only posted in it today as it seemed to change topic. I just react in the heat of the moment at times. It's that Sicilian hot-headedness I have. Trust me, that's much better than meeting da' family. LOL!

See, it's not you that counts entire arguments invalid due to a perceived logical fallacy. And believe me, I recognize that there were personal attacks made against you in the thread where you mentioned the ad hominem thing. It's not just those two logical fallacies that have been brought up though. There have been others that have brought up other fallacies as well. It's at those points that topics go way off base and people just argue about the points of debating rather than the points of the debate.

I really don't want you to take that thread as an attack against you. As much as I disagree with a lot of your points, I also learn a lot from your posts. I can deal with that and appreciate it as well.

Are the people that agree with me big babies? Sure, I guess they are. I suppose that's what I was being when I cried about it. But hey, every once in a while, I need to be a baby.

I guess the bottom line is I get into reading on the subjects that you are all debating and then it gets sidetracked into arguments over logical fallacies and it pisses me off because then I lose interest. It is what it is, I guess.

That's fine. It's the individual comments I've received from people that indicate that at least a few agree. So, my rant did not fall on deaf ears. And it wasn't intended to be a flame war to begin with. If it was, I would have called people out by name. I didn't. I don't care where the thread goes now. It's unimportant.

Thanks for the rep - I wasn't just calling you out on the strawman thing. Yes, I was calling you out, but not just you. Since you started using that, so have a few others. It's not that you've ever been wrong in the use of it, mind you. I just think it's getting over used by everyone who uses it.
