Joe Montana very salty about Brady taking GOAT status from him

They were not as significant as the changes that came later, after Marino retired.

Joe Montana very salty about Brady taking GOAT status from him

I actually do think that Dan Marino was the best pure passer I've ever seen. Neither Brady nor Montana had an arm like Marino did, with the combination of his quick release, accuracy, and arm strength. Brady was better at reading defenses, though. It's a shame that Shula never really put a...

Who is the Worst Owner in New England Sports?

I was wondering why he built that new lighthouse at Gillette. 🤔

Who is the Worst Owner in New England Sports?

Well, it's the off season, so these are the things that get talked about, while waiting for some real news. IMO, there seems to be only one good owner at the moment (Wyc), but others may have different opinions.

    Looking at the Patriots 2024

I suspect that with BB gone, the defense could regress.

    Looking at the Patriots 2024

I'd have been psyched if they got Mayfield and Evens, but they didn't. :deadhorse:

Jacoby Brissett, Patriots agree to one-year, $8M contract

You could be right, but around 3/4 of 1st round QBs are busts, so a QB with the 3rd pick is no guarantee either. If they go with a QB, I hope he sits, as others have said.

    Parker Released

At some point, BB started overrating character over talent.

Is it possible that the BB and Patriots haters love it?

    Muhammad Ali versus Mike Tyson.

If Buster Douglas could figure out how to beat Tyson, I suspect Ali could have done the same.

    Mac Jones to the Jags

Well, he needed to go. In his rookie season, he looked like maybe he had a chance to be good early on, but that faded some by the end of that season, as teams appeared to have figured out how to defend against him. In his second season, I lost some respect for him with his antics, and his 3rd...

    The Dynasty

People say that all the time, but I'm not convinced that he would have scored. BTW, Seattle only had 1 timeout left, which is why they chose to throw on 2nd down, as an incomplete pass would have stopped the clock.

    Looking at the Patriots 2024

Mac didn't get beat up even remotely close to was happened to Plunkett. There weren't any rules protecting QBs back then, like there are now.

    Looking at the Patriots 2024

The biggest problem with Mac, is that when he believes he's under pressure (whether real or perceived), he panics, and often makes a throw, without proper footwork, (sometimes stepping backwards or side ways). He simply doesn't have the kind of arm strength, that would enable him to make a good...
