I'm glad I joined this board.

UT, i tell every patriots fan i meet on the internet that patriots planet is the best patriots site there is. even with the 26 moderators.

absolutely! "old" is a state of mind.

or when volkswagon only made one model and it was called the "beetle" or the "bug." and was once again under $2000.00.

Bledsoe "In Their Own Words" to air Tuesday

i agree. i came to the conclusion, during the horrid 5-11, 2000 season, when i was counting 5 and 6 seconds in the pocket, and drew still failed to make the play, that the pats would never win a super bowl with drew. i remember reading that drew was the first one out of foxborough after the...

    David Patten might be available

i just had to add a little something to your post TB. after all, the emoticon is named in his honor.

    Freeney

and new england has the better of both, IMHO. ;) but i do agree with you steve-o. its much better discussing (arguing? ) things as they are now. anyone remember the 1981 season that came down to the last game of the year between the pats and balt. colts playing for the #1 draft pick...

    David Patten might be available

as i recall, both givens and branch dropped balls last year on a drive late in the game in the 28-20 loss to the broncos. the patriots, led by brady, just always seem to have a hard time with denver and miami.

    David Patten might be available

i'll always remember brady's 4th start in 2001 against the colts. david patten had a 29 yard TD run, caught a 91 yard TD pass from brady, threw a 60 yard TD pass to troy brown and caught another TD pass from brady at the end. pats win 38-17. patten is very fast and has worked with brady...

    Freeney

ouch! that hurt. but you're right. i did sound like one of them. time to wash my keyboard out with circuit cleaner.

    Freeney

oh, getting technical, eh? OK. if the team that lost to denver didn't have an NFL-parity minded referee running from 3 blocks away, 3 days late, throwing a flag on the team that lost to denver's CB, after said CB was grabbed because he was in front of denver's WR in his route (not to mention...

    Freeney

if the team that lost to denver was BLATENTLY handed back a game changing interception, they probably would have beaten denver. what's the team that lost to the steelers excuse? even the steeler's jerome bettis tried to help out. how many heimlich maneuvers does the colts offense require...

    Freeney

yet, for some reason, freeney basically disappears in the playoffs.

I saw you, but you didn't see me

ROFL i was at a NH campground some years ago right around motorcycle weekend. some dirtball took to revving the hell out of his RICEBURNER (god, i hate that sound) at 7 AM. he did it 2 days in a row. during the 3rd night i heard what i thought were 5 or 6 gunshots. turned out 2 or 3 guys...

    Freeney

glad i could amuse you. the NFL record for sacks is 22.5 by michael strahan in 2001. if seymour were allowed to play 1-gap, charge after the QB, like freeney is, i think it would be very possible for 20 to 25 sacks. in any case, we'll never know because it would hurt the pats defense overall...
