We have beaten the Jets 11 times in a row. However the Jets have beaten the Titans, who just beat the Bills. The Patriots need a win badly and can't take this team lightly.
 
I'm actually kind of nervous about this game. I hope the team doesn't come out flat like they did against the Texans, and then need Mac's late game heroics to win it. I hope it's a complete game and we get to see the first comfortable win at home.
 
The Jete are playing better than when the Pats faced them in week 2. But they are still bottom of the barrel. This should be a win unless the O decides to be keep the leash on Mac. Jets D is much better than Dallas but their O is not in the same league. Should be a close game.

Mac is better IMO but everywhere else is a mess. I am not sure who is even going to play on the Oline and this Jete team can rush well. Pats rushing D is atrocious. If the secondary plays anything like it did vs Mills it will be a long game. But I am not betting against Wilson throwing a pick or two, I just doubt it is 4 again.

No, it isn't. You keep posting lies. The D was ranked 6th overall 2 weeks ago going into the TB game holding them to 19 points, and they held 2/3 Houston RBs to under 3 YPC last week and Ingram under 4 at 3.8, allowing 22 points.

The Run D against Dallas was good. Neither back went off. That was the gameplan. Make sure the 2 stud RBs don't impact the game with the run. Dallas certainly threw well.

You people will lie constantly and act like you can get away with it. Atrocious is the Chiefs or a team like that, ya know, because they are and rank way down the list.

I don't this team has allowed a 100 yard rusher as a lead back yet this season. Fournette had what 90 yards and they induced him to run to take the ball out of Brady's hands.

NE is the 17th ranked rushing defense allowing 112 yards per game.

The Patriots are also allowing opponents to convert 32.86% of the time on third downs. They aren't causing much havoc in the backfield, entering the bye with the eighth-lowest pressure rate (22.7%) and that was all before Dallas moved the ball at will against the Patriots' secondary.

That all being said, IMO Wilson should perform better this Sunday because his performance in week 2 was one of the worst displays of QBing in a long time even for the JETE. LOL. I still expect the Pats to win by 7-10 points. Mac IMO is progressing well. I think the receivers are getting a little more comfortable too. I just worry about the Oline holding up against a very good Jet Dline and the secondary holding up should Wilson catch fire at some point.

I did. The person said "our Run D is atrocious" after a nice game on Sunday vs the run against arguably the 2 best back combo in the NFC, replete with a huge goal line stand. Nothing I said is inaccurate, but the troll person said something that isn't true whatsoever based on data or fact.

So how is middle of the pack "atrocious"? You literally just lied and now you're posting the truth after being called out. The next batch of teams in front of them are probably allowing 111, 110, 109 yards a game. So, this change quickly throughout the season, too. They may be top 10 here in a few weeks, but it's not "atrocious".

Next, that stat isn't the best with BB teams either. We all know what BB does as a gameplanner. I've seen him let DeAngelo Williams back in 2015 run a bunch in a game was because they feared the pass game more, so they took that out. NE won 28-21.

BB knows that if you try to do it all and guess on scheme or playcall, it ends up being too difficult over 4 qtrs and it backfires. Other teams do it that way and they suck. They don't get it.

We literally told you going into the Bucs game, BB would deploy the SB 25 style gameplan and he did, so who cares if Fournette got 90 yards on 20 carries? It absolutely had nothing to do with why they lost.

The Run D was not great vs the Jets last month, but when you're INT a QB and have a lead the whole game, let them eat clock. It's called strategy.

I've been biting my tongue, but don't take this the wrong way... You seem very aggressive when there are differing opinions to yours. You're a good poster that can share your knowledge, but it's difficult to read your posts at times when it seems you're attacking a poster in about a third of them.

We all know how Mazz is, and it can get frustrating, but it's just as frustrating when the following responses are attacks. It doesn't really solve anything, except make the mods clean up/close threads.

In the nicest, most respectable way possible, I invite you to post in a civil manner. We are all adults here.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in that. The Jets have been so slow at the start of games.

I just don't like disinformation. We see it enough in the world. I really don't expect to see it here by a troll named "Mazz" for crying out loud. Tony Massarotti has made a lot of money being a troll on 98.5 for over 10 years.

You can argue the point without the personal attacks. If you think she is purely a troll and can't help yourself, put her on ignore.

I contain what I can to appropriate threads but when all people do is ramp up the hostility it sends threads out of control and doesn't make it a pleasant thread for others to read.

The attacks need to stop.

Oh and F the Jets, since that is what this thread is for.
