So sensitive. I don't know, man. It's a lot cheaper doing it in other ways and I learned that in my 20s. Yep. You clearly need to keep looking.

Not strict at all. I do think it's a little weird these things end up on a Pats board and not in another section of the board like all the other material. That part isn't really consistent, so it's confusing. This one and the "Beware, you will be offended" or a lot of the other ones. Most boards take everything else into other mini forums and it works well. I try to keep non direct Pats talk away from here as best as I can. I realize cross over can happen, but I am sure you're looking for it not to veer to far off, which makes sense. But, a thread about another totally random topic does honestly seem inconsistent if the goal is Pats topics.

I guess my question to that would be, what is acceptable beyond Pats threads in the Pats section? Can I post something I want that has nothing to do with talking Pats football?

Yeah, we've been very different for 19 years.

As far as what can be posted here. As long as shit isn't spammed and is likely to be of interest to others... Here is the summary of this forum...

Talk about the Patriots. Talk about other teams. Talk about Alice in Wonderland, the owls on your trashcan, or almost anything else. It's all good (as long as it's not Politics).

The idea is a virtual Tailgate. Everyone has a good time. Most talk is Pats, but as people do they talk of other things as well.

You'd have to be more specific, but most likely.

It's when posters get too insulting or confrontational, regardless of the topic, that people get upset and threads get moved or closed.

The one you liked that I posted about Cheater Goodell being confronted by Congress (finally) like Selig and MLB were confronted by the intentional negligence of roids for financial gain 15 year ago, ironically when the NFL saw an opportunity to surge past MLB to become the sport in this country.
 
Yeah it's fine, but with mention of congress we'd need to guard against discussion being too political. If it is then it would go into that forum where civil discussion is more strictly enforced.

That's that weird cross-over thing. I mean, it's not that political. Corruption is corruption and it's a topic Pats fans know all too well. I did post it there out of respect it may not be allowed here.

For somebody that has wafer-thin skin, you sure seem to like to get judgey.

The story I posted happened 8 years ago. Since then I've been in a strip joint exactly once. Why you
feel the need to clutch your pearls over a minor joke reply to a long-time friend seems pretty weird.
