I disagree. it would be a big win for the Patriots in an undeniably QB-driven league. We can all disagree on this, it's fine. Some have faith that mac can somehow become a top-tier QB and others don't.

Ah, come on, guys, Jackson is hardly Newton Mark II. He's 25 and is not on the decline. We can all say no way we should pay what's being asked, and we shouldn't. But objectively, Jackson would instantly make the Patriots a better team; even without opening a playbook, he would make them better.

I think that was a key reason for the signing, that he can be almost an auxiliary coach and can mentor guys like Dr. Strange and others. Everyone raves about his lockerroom presence.

There’s definitely a whole lot of talk about Mayo recently. Lot of stuff talking how the Krafts rate him. These stories don’t just appear out of nowhere. We’re being told who Bill’s successor is in clear terms. and it’s a brilliant choice if true.
