Oh bollocks. I was about a post to a similar effect. Another possibility is to put the Guards out at WR in the spread. "Want to press me off the LOS? Go ahead, punk..."
Absolutely. What's particularly galling is that there was a real focus on Special Teams for years, led by Bill.
It's difficult to know what has been going on recently, but things are clearly "off". Last year's Offensive woes were very un Belichick-like.
Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds nuts, as they say.
There's a good comment on Reddit which points out that you have to evaluate draftees against NFL players. When you do that, the WRs look "meh" and the OTs were probably no better than the current veterans on the roster.
I think you...
I randomly woke up just as the Pats were on the clock. I'm really chuffed that we picked Gonzalez - one of the few potential "blue chips" in this draft.
I'm not wowed that we didn't take players for the offence on Day 2. However, I've heard that this WR class isn't that good and that...
I remember when I discovered here, having been a poster in another place. You correctly pointed out that I would fit right in because I'm a crazy bastard.
Also, make sure to try some of our local beers like Bud Light (see what I did there?), or try good English foods from McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Five Guys, Krispy Kreme, Coke, Pepsi....
In London, you can take pics of the various ceremonial guards of the Royal Household. However, they are serving Infantry soldiers and understandably don't appreciate being touched in any way, or having people get too close.
Me too. I've travelled in Europe, been to the US, Morocco and Turkey, but that's it.
I would like to see South America and parts of Asia (Japan and South Korea, in particular).
If Bailey couldn't rush the passer, then he's dead to me. The Planet seems to have stopped asking "can he rush the passer?". It's no coincidence that the Pats have become mediocre at the same time.
It's in the past 3 to 4 years. Covid accelerated it.
Tbh, it's really easy. We all have debit cards that you tap on payment machines. Occasionally you have to input your PIN.
As long as you keep an eye online at your accounts, and are careful about where you use the card, it's fine.
My "must visits" for a quick visit would be:
- Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard. They're fully trained (and experienced) Infantry, who do 50% of their time in ceremonial duties. Note - be EARLY - an hour before.
- Green Park, which is next door. London gets pretty intense and...
Thanks. I would add that London is just a great place to wander around. When I first came here (from the North), I enjoyed just randomly seeing stuff. There's an amazing amount of history.
London is great, but try to find the non-tourist trap places for food/sightseeing. You can use the Underground (Tube) but London is a very walkable city. For a more varied experience, go and see the City (the original Roman/pre-Roman bit).
There are a lot if you look at TripAdvisor, so do your...
Yeah, I always prefer the subtitled versions.
The translation of this is really good (humblebrag that I speak enough German to be able to tell). That's not always the case.
We've just finished season 1 and really enjoyed it. I do get confused about who's who, though.
We've recently starting watching Dark, a German series, on Netflix. It's got slightly X Files vibes and has time-travel as its main theme. It does have a fair amount of violence and darkness, by way of warning.
