I found this interesting and a bit random so I think it belongs in the Random Thoughts thread.

Had an old school friend that I have on FB, Sonja, write to me with the sweetest words about beauty and all kinds of joyful things out of the blue.

It’s random cuz I really don’t remember her from HS and I feel bad about that but her FB posts are often wonderful and very kind to all of the world.

She asked me if I would go to the lake with her at sunrise tomorrow to pray.

I’m not a believer(sorry AOT still not there) and she must know that, just a super sweet offer and I think I’ll go.

Sounds like a beautiful thing to do with a kind, good soul. Then maybe we can out for breakfast or something.

I remember many years ago, in the 90’s hiking to the top of Loon mountain to pray at sunrise and it was such a moving experience.

I don’t think this is lovey type thing, just a kindness. wuv

Oh my goodness! I still tear up over this incredibly beautiful tribute to those that were lost and all that is good about America at SB 36 after 9/11 with the Patriots by U2, how more perfect could that be.

Wow, this is amazing. I have somehow never seen this amazing band live with all the shows I've seen.

The intro is just badass here and I so love this song, "The Spirit Of Radio".

These guys just get it., philosophically and spiritually. KInda one and the same.

Fantastic! I never saw Rush either, in all my shows attended. I watched the behind the final tour special this past year and it really hit home. Wish I had.

Heard this the other day and it kinda made me well up a bit, even though I’ve worked right through this pandemic. Just the idea of the song. Give me a chance, it’s all I need. Plus it fvcking rocks!

Been hanging and sitting down in the Merrimack river and lately the ugly, nasty pre-metamorphosis creatures have been hanging out on my friends legs and within an hour burst out into a beautiful dragonfly.
