2015, Week 2 - Rex's Bills

I remember when Wilfork would get double teamed. He wouldn't necessarily push the pocket back but he wouldn't get steam rolled like our DL is.

Runs in untouched. Going into the season so light on the DL was obviously going to hurt but untouched going into the endzone is inexcusable.

That drive is what happens when you spend two first rounders on 3 tech DTs who can't get on the field.

Josh Kline starting...

So much for those super impressive rookie guards I kept hearing about.

I thought we were better on the OL than last year?

This game gives me the same feeling when we lost 31 to nothing to Buffalo.

It's been one drive. We knew the Bills were going to come out hot.

If we can shore up the run defense we will be fine. They aren't going to win passing the ball.

I like the bi-polar ness you have there Tony. Reminds me of all my family back in the Boston area and how hot and cold they run. We stink, going negative on every play, but once someone else says it, then here I come to the defense.

This is not sarcastic by the way, I seriously have great nostalgia for that type of fandom

It's not bipolar to be impartial. Contrary to what Lisa likes to whine about, I don't cry doom and gloom after one bad drive or play. Long term our run defense is going to be an issue, but it also was last season.

I come here to see people happy about that nice patriots drive to tie and the 2 D holds and people are still upset about the first drive.

Bills fans talking shit just to get embarrassed. Same Ole sorry ass bills & Rex .

40 Points
Record 466 yds passing v. Bills
One of only 3 teams over 500 yds v. Bills.

"Best Defense Ever...suck my dick."

For legendary Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, Brady being on the field against Buffalo isn't a bad thing -- he's actually happy about it.

"We have a very solid football team but the king is coming to town and that's the New England Patriots," Kelly said on NFL Gameday. "In order for us to get to the top, we got to get through them, so we'll see what happens. I'm so glad that Tom Brady is going to be here because we don't want to hear no excuses when we beat the Patriots today at Orchard Park."

Hope you got a good bite out of that burger, Mr Kelly.

Again be careful what you wish for . Pats dominated 40 minutes of that game. Got lazy & sloopy in the 4th. To allow the bills to make it a 5 point game .

Do you wish to revisit this post?

No? The OL definitely played better than expected but there is a reason why we didn't run the ball. Switch the QBs and we are the team that gives up 8 sacks today. Brady got the ball out quickly all game and the one time he really hung on to it he got strip sacked.

On top of that, I don't have a snap count but it didn't seem like the rookies played much if at all. Kline and Wendell started at guard and as far as I know played the entire game. As long as Kline is starting over them, I'm not going to hold my breath about how good they are.

Why the **** do you have bring anyone into your stupid fifth grade argument style posting?

Inactives: CB Justin Coleman, DT Dominique Easley, DB Nate Ebner, DE Trey Flowers, WR Keshawn Martin, G Ryan Wendell, RB James White

Why would we want to try to run the ball against this Bills team that needs to be damaged by quick passes all day every day?

Wendell was inactive today :coffee:

The Pats didn't run because it's futile to run against the Bills, not because the OLine sucks. It's the strength of their defense. Similar to when the Pats played at Minnesota a few years ago and all the talk was how the Pats couldn't run against their Dline. The Pats didn't even bother to try. That's the difference between the Pats and many other teams. Why play to another team's strength?
