2023: Higher or lower than the crowd on...

Are we sure about that?

It's not like Dak was tearing it up at the end of the year. I guess he gets some credit with the Cooper Rush time he was in there.

Seriously, look at everyone over the last decade ESPN and the NFL have hyped up as offensive gurus. How are these guys actually doing?
Lol I dunno, I don’t watch ESPN at all due to that outlets politics. Even Monday night football is usually to late for me.

But I don’t think Dak is all that great. Moore was the scapegoat for that team underperforming. I believe he’s gonna be a head coach one day.

Maybe he will, but what do you base all that on? Near as I can tell, he's just another 'offensive guru' who has a lot more hype than results.

Up on Justin Fields

Down on Russell Wilson

I wanted the Pats to get Moore.

Over BOB? I'm curious why that is. It's not like he helped Dak or the Cowboys O all that much. Or that he's familiar with Mac Jones' best abilities or the Pats' offensive system.
He's also a pure West Coast System guy.
What is it about Kellen Moore that causes you to jump on his train?

Contrarians specialize in jumping on other trains.

Moore was available right at seasons end before Bill signed BOB.

Why I like Moore is because he is a young, innovative mind. He has twice had the league's No. 1 offense in terms of yards per game as and also led the NFL's highest scoring offense in 2021. Last year the Cowboys were in fourth place in points scored, which is a fascinating achievement considering they had to rely on the services of backup quarterback Cooper Rush for 5 games, where they went 4-1 in that stint. The offense operated at an efficiency of 0.44 points per play which was third-best in the league and they also had a red zone conversion rate of 73%, also third-best in the league.

I think Moore brings that dynamic mind and play calling that we desperately need especially in the red zone. I think he is absolutely going to light up the league with Herbert and the cast of offensive weapons in LA.

If he was all that great why did the Cowboys let him leave?
Besides all that, being a pure West Coast guy eliminates him from consideration for the Pats.

Depends on who you read but it was apparently mutual. As soon as he was released by the Cowboys, he was signed by the Chargers within hours.

Mutual means the Cowboys were good with him leaving. Why?

I have no idea but for Kellen moving on from Dak and getting Herbert and the LA offense was a no brainer.

Higher on Pittsburgh
Lower on Buffalo

Higher on Dolphins
Lower on Jets

Higher on Sidy Sow
Lower on Uche

Higher on: Pittsburgh (This team could be nasty, and of course they are the "benefit" of our 3rd place schedule)
Lower on: Cleveland

Higher on: AFC North (2nd best division in NFL)
Lower on: AFC West (3rd best division in the AFC)

Higher on: Miami (though I worry about depth/attrition)
Lower on: Denver (overrated at almost every position)

Two words - Kenny Pickett

I'm not a believer in Pickett, necessarily. He is the exact type of QB to look amazing in preseason and very iffy in the regular season when the reads aren't vanilla. He might be good, but it's the rest of the team around him, and the coaches. They can make him look good, regardless.
