Yeah, I heard that this am. Unfortunate for him and for the Pats that they can't depend on the guy. The Pats have known that for a while so they drafted a G.
Time to move on if he can't fully recover.
I'm not going to argue that Strange hasn't been disappointing and he appears to be one of the prime poster boys for Belichick's failed drafting philosophies that
ultimately led to him losing his job.
It's just that he was off to a really bad start last season coming back from his '22 injury, but fought through it and was playing his best football yet when the knee
ended his '23 season and it appears like this offseason will likely be Groundhog Day for him. It's a damn shame because his skillset is ideal for a team looking to run
a zone scheme and, when healthy

he is simply a tremendous athlete who has major potential. I could also point out that the rookie Guard we drafted hasn't
done a damn thing yet and Atonio Mafi was terrifically bad as a rookie in '23. We aren't exactly loaded across the IOL.
My fear in all this is that Strange will ultimately end up on the outside looking in and will end up becoming a pro bowl guard for somebody else, but I
have to believe that he will be given every chance to recuperate from this even though a large majority of our fanbase thinks he's made of
glass, was a terrible reach by Bill and we should cut our losses. Unfair? Perhaps, but frustration often manifests in unfair judgements and it could
be that everybody that thinks that way is just being practical.
Wouldn't it be ironic if he ends up in LA playing great for Sean McVay? The same guy that laughed when we drafted him in the 1st? Maybe they
could become Strange bedfellows.
