Hunter at 4 assuming Carter is gone...Have to do it(Although I like Graham)
Hunter and Gonzo could be special

I like Arroyo, I like Skattebo, But every mock I do, I just like someone else better for that draft position.
Usually an Edge, or OT or DT.

I think if Cleveland trades Garrett, they could realistically take Carter. Tennessee could even pull the trigger on Carter if they saw fit. Then Cleveland likely takes Cam Ward.

Do the Giants then take Hunter?

With Carter and Hunter both gone, I am not sure how valuable that #4 pick is at this point. Pats may be forced to look to trade out prior to the draft if they want to get any kind of a haul. And by "haul." I don't think this is the kind of draft where you land someone's future #1. More likely trade back to that team's #1 and pick up additional picks throughout the draft (like a #2 and #5).

If I am a GM, I don't see much to mortgage the future on in order to move up.

I like the idea of being able to shutdown the opponent's passing game, especially since there aren't that many really good passing QBs in the league at present, at least when compared with the Brady era, which featured Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Phillip Rivers, and Matt Ryan, plus a number of other non-HOF but accomplished passers like Andy Dalton and Tony Romo.

And in a league where running has been deemphasized, being able to defend the pass is critically important, as we all saw when Stephon Gilmore was here and won DPOY.

And If we do end up going that route, I'de like to go heavy on the edge rushers to force throws early, and Oline,
Dline run stuffers.

This is a good strategy for a rebuild.

I'm not too concerned about the WR position, and as you point out, Hunter improves that situation, too.

And a good QB can make chicken salad out of Chicken Little.

Conerly being there at 38 is unusual, but I actually like him better than Campbell as a LT prospect.
I think Arroyo and Skattebo are both potential stars, so I get them in every draft if I can (Arroyo's already gone up like 30 spots in the mock rankings). I also think Castro might be the steal of the draft, really a traditional safety with good box skills.
