2025 NFL Free Agent Tracker

End of an era and a huge paradigm shift for Kyle Shanahan's offense in SF. That's the real news with this move. Is Kyle moving towards McVay's vision? If so it will be the teacher
following the student. Meanwhile McVay is all in for this year.
It would be super weird to get rid of all his wide receivers if he was doing that.

Just draft Willie Lampkin as the FB/TE. Way cheaper.

He’s listed as a guard, but he’s way too short. He is however a great blocker.
I should go to Vegas and put money on Lampkin becoming a Patriot.
Was Maye's center at UNC.

He was a jag at OT and surely we have enough Gs.
I mean, that's kind of unfair I think. He couldn't stay on the field at LT due to injury, and this was really his first chance to do anything since, playing guard last year.

I still think he can play LT at a high level, good signing for the Chargers no matter where they decide to put him.

Unfair but true. He was much better at G than T.

Read that Rodgers wants to go to Vikes, it is up to O’Connell, and he might retire vs going to jints or squeelers

He might also pseudo-retire, and just hang around waiting for the phone to ring after some starting QB goes down. If that happens and it's the right situation, i.e. a team that is a strong post-season contender, he'll be in a good bargaining position.

The Vikings would be asking for trouble if they brought Rogers in, imo. It would lead to firings.
Would we want Rogers to be mentoring Drake Maye with his crazy ideas about life? Yes, Maye was a fan of Rogers while growing up but that was based on QB skill & that Rogers is long gone. Besides, Rogers was awful in his time with the Jets. How would that help JJ McCarthy?

You know who would have been perfect to mentor JJ McCarthy?
Sam Darnold. :coffee:
