2025 Pats FA

I get this, and I have been the loudest trade-backer. But it takes two to trade. Who would want to trade up to 4? They are looking at the same board everyone else is.
Yeah. That’s a very good point. If Hunter is there though I think a team would give up their first and second to move up and grab him.
lol Jerry maybe? He likes big flashy names.

If Hunter is available, the Pats would be stupid af to NOT pick him.

The Pats are routinely TERRIBLE at drafting WR’s.

This is a no brainer pick, even if he somehow busts.

Roll the dice and pick him anyway.

If they select Hunter. He won’t be the first Pats player. To play both sides. Remember Brown & Edelman were the Slot CB

Hunter does not even weigh 190. No thanks at number 4.

Tyreek Hill (5'10", 185 lbs)
Stefon Diggs (5'10", 190 lbs)
DeVonta Smith ( 6'0", 170 lbs)

☕
I get it. And the other thing is that with the way the refs are calling the game now smaller guys are holding up a lot better.
But I still want my number one outside WR to be at least 195 coming out of college. That way you know when he gains weight his speed will be there.
And Devonte Smith is not worth the 4th pick. At all. I don’t think hill or diggs went in the first round.

He could muscle up…but, he would fill a must needed role for a long time!

Mayo is such a POS…

St. Brown is another example of a smaller guy.
He also was what a 4round pick? 3rd?
The depth is there this year at Tackle and WR. Hopefully they can trade back.
Next year a stud WR could be available in the mid first.

Height 6′ 0″, Weight 203 lbs

God I hope not. Not at 4. He is not that much better than the guys going at the end of the first.
Trade back, trade back, of all the years to trade back this is the one. The value in this draft is the mid first to the mid third.
So who would you suggest to play LT. Grey Zabel, OT/G/C, North Dakota State Height: 6-6. Weight: 305.
Josh Simmons*, OT, Ohio State Height: 6-5. Weight: 310. Who is coming off a season-ending ACL tear this past season.
Anthony Belton, OT, N.C. State Height: 6-6. Weight: 336.
I don't see any others that could be a solid starter if healthy.

If FA is about rebuilding the Defense . They should use draft to get talent around Maye . I agree with rivshark . Unless Campbell blows away the patriots at his pro day . They should Trade down to get one of Top WRs & Tackle

Hell trade back and draft two of the 3.

I have see some tape on Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State Height: 6-4. Weight: 215. He caught a lot of passes from a Sophomore QB Rocco Becht Who threw a lot of short passes that Higgins had to stop or come back for.

6. Eyes on Bradbury: With the Patriots releasing center David Andrews with a failed physical designation, and having explored the possibility of signing center Drew Dalman (who ended up in Chicago) in free agency, the status of Vikings center Garrett Bradbury as a potential option bears watching for them.

The Vikings plan to release Bradbury if a trade can't be worked out, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter, and it seems unlikely a team will want to take on his $4.9 million base salary. So should Bradbury become a free agent in the coming days, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Patriots sign him.
